Joanna Lo Poem
By the time the light reaches
my eyes,
By the time the sun reaches its
height,
I'll be gone to darkness dear,
To find what true to one's kind
heart,
And find its light is soon to
part.

Joanna Lo Poem
Broken
We walked and talked about random blue things.
When I lost you I wished I were an angel in wings.
Your eye was a ray that shocked my heart
A million jolts took me apart.
I’d break like an egg
And you’d gaze with hate.
You only understood when she ran into you
But then I was new
And you were behind
Lying sideways I felt so sad
Leaving you was worse than thinking of what we had.
So I went back to the vats
But you turned to ash
The cruel voice would sigh,
You’d die and I’d cry.
