A Forever Love

The love of all love will live on in my heart,
Though Fate has decreed that we two must part.
We shared such moments that time cannot erode,
But now each must walk our own sepperate road.

The Love that we shared, promised so much,
with each little word, each little touch.
We shared each our laughter,felt each others pain.
Pray fate will decree. That we'll love again.

Together we could cross Oceans so wide,
and scale every Mountain at each others side.
our sorrows and joys were just as one.
My Love is still here. Darling, 'tis you that has gone.

Even time will not heal this broken heart,
or erode the memory of the day we were to part,
for here in my being always there'll be.
A  'Forever Love.' Thats just you and me.

You walked out of my life with no word of farewell,
and left such a sorrow that no word can dispell.
Be happy My Darling in all that you do.
But remember the Love. that always is YOU.

My love for you is deep within my heart,
And in my being and my mind I know we two will never part.

The Wanderer

The Wanderer went a wandering
Down a winding Lane
The Wanderer went a wandering.
And was never seen again.
Now if you go a wandering,
down the lane He loved the most.
You might happen on the Wanderer.
But onley as a Gohst.

Shall we but meet on a moonlit night,
Unhurried without time,
Safe in each other’s arms we’re held,
To let our souls entwine.
Accept this love I give you.
No other will it match.
And I will pledge my love to you.
For as long as time may last.

Vows

When the honeymoon is over
And you have those little rows,
Remember how you stood that day
And made those Wedding Vows.
Remember too the joy
When the Preist said 'Kiss the Bride',
And how you looked around you,
Your hearts so full of pride.
Remenber all those little things,
That made you,to each other dear.
And how good the feeling,
When you hold each other near.
Then in the twilight of your years
You'll have something proud to own.
A Love you've cherished thru' the years.

Tomorrow

TOMORROW


Doctor, Doctor doing your best,
Am I going to die, or just need rest.
The pills you gave me are having fun'
Chasing each other round my tum'.
From what I ail can I pass it on,
Or with T.L.C. will it soon be gone.
I promise to do what ever you say'
But it seems as though it just won't go away.
And though I sit here full of sorrow.
Because of you, I know there will be another
                 TOMORROW.

Blessings

Count not your Blessings in what you posess
True Love has a blessing that has no redress.
Your heart may be happy, or the tears may flow.
But true Love stays with you where ever you go.

It's comfort will guide you through all of lifes sorrow.
It's joy will continue with each tomorrow.
God gave us Love to cherish, not spurn,
And the richnes of love is what each of us yearn.

When True Love comes don't count the cost,
Just count your blessings that to you Love is not lost.
Hold on to that Love it's richness to treasure.
And peace in your Heart, you will find there forever.

Love's not for the old, it's not for the young.
Love has a melody that cannot be sung.
True love is for ever in every way,
True love is from meeting. Till Judgement Day.

I'll have a richness that grows with time,
if you will be my Valentine.
I'll have the Sun to forever shine.
If you will be my Valentine
I'll have love beyond compare,
If my life with me you'll share,
I'll give you love for all to see,
Because you are the being. That is Me.
I know contentment will be mine.

Retirement

RETIREMENT
Now that I'm retired I can do just as I like,
Take the dog for a walk, or go out on my bike.
I can go and hide inthe shed; away from the misses,
An4 just keep my head down, while she does the dishes.
I could take the kids down the pond, to sail their little yatch,
While my wife cooks the dinner, for that great man she ~s got.
I can sit out inthe garden choosing all the seeds, .
While my wife is down on her knees, pulling all the weeds.
I can read stories to the grandkids, maybe on a Monday,
While my wife is in the kitchen, wrestling with the laundry.
I'll go out in the garage and keep out of the way,
While 'wifey' does the cleaning like she does every day!
I'll do my share inthe kitchen like making tea and toast,
And my wife can keep me happy with the meals I like most.
And if she wants to send me shopping, for some milk or bread
I can always give her, her pet excuse; I've a pain inmy head.
I can wander down the local for a pint or three,
While 'wifey' happily stays home, getting supper just for me.
I might take her out to dinner if I could find the will,
But only if she promises, that she will pay the bill.
I can buy myself a hammock to lie out in the sun
And hope she won't get angry if the decorating isn't done
Now if you believe all of this your mind has surely strayed,
Because as we all know, 'Her indoors' must surely be obeyed.
So if I get, to lie in just one minute after seven,
I'll keep my eyes tightly shut, and pretend that I'm in
Heaven
