Quentin Ehlinger Poem
A simple note for your natal anniversary
Would be no more then simply just cursory.
Yes, a word or two to wish to you
A happy birthday just wouldn't do
So I simply wrote for you this little verse, you see?

Quentin Ehlinger Poem
This is the one day they say
We must remember this day
All the fighters who have died
As well as those who have tried
Defending us to this day

Drew Brees threw with ease
For Who-Dats to please
But never encroach
Upon the head coach
In spite of their pleas

Each eleven November
We all should remember
Every service member
Who left a glowing ember

Quentin Ehlinger Poem
You are the extrovert
And I, the introvert
So, what can I do
In order to win you
Should I subordinate
Or should I dominate
I really don't know for sure
But I do know my love is pure
So it should do no harm
To use all of my charm
To lure you
I adore you

Quentin Ehlinger Poem
Where have they gone, all those great days of yore
When we used to meet down by the sea shore,
Those high clouds above, just drifting away,
The smell of the sea, the gulls at their play.
Why do some think that that was a bore?
Maybe they've never done that before!

Quentin Ehlinger Poem
There once was a girl named Sandy
Whose auburn hair was doubly-dandy:
She got gigs of gazes,
A plethora of praises;
Hey, her hair hue was hyper-handy!

Quentin Ehlinger Poem
Hubig's Pies are very pretty
And the lemon pie is sweet
So remember the old ditty
That you are just what you eat!
(Sung to melody of "Lemon Tree")
