Above the Clouds

ABOVE THE CLOUDS

To hell with these monotonies,
no strings attached I fly.
Live normally with anomalies,
myself, my sole ally.
Disguise realised through shrouded lies,
I wore to please beliefs.
And wore a crease which won't suffice,
to lead a life so brief.
Then I shed, ceased to pretebd,
off, through clouds to Utopia.
The world then wailed, won't apprehend,
my flight, denying euphoria.
Trapped by rules I'm bound to abide,
ambushed by decree, they foiled my flee.
Rehab by living, this world a cyanide,
I bite debris, failed to foresee.
Dead sea ahead, spilling with sharks,
and tears, as I pray for blissful healing.
Tossed my ark, on faith I embark,
denying me any custom feeling.
Lost and found, again I'm bound,
the world hard steel, me, wet naked rust
swim through my tears, go around, astound,
the world, as I make, bridges from dust.
To combust the gap, between dreams and reality,
existance a fiasco, the world gave me naught.
Above clouds, floating away from my vanity,
and cycles, of rebirth, illusions I ain't bought.
Beyond the clouds, in seizured thralls,
of dreams so extreme, themed to my design.
Envied, world shakes me,"Hello Dr.",it calls,
luck mine, no one on the other line.
The world plays roles, while I play the lead,
in my life, now as I prepare to rebel.
Those unjust bondages, we merely accede,
with guns in heaven. and roses in hell.
Storm brings rain, from pleasure comes pain,
cavities left, by dreams so sweet.
The world deep below, like a being insane,
made me think, was it worth the feat?
From anthills of hope, 'bove clouds today,
returned to douse the world ablaze.
Realized, Utopia, on earth it lays,
beyond clouds, the world, cured of malaise.
From within I'll fight, to see that day,
from a grain of hope, those fields I'll raise.
Of truth, and yet, I cry a phrase,
THE MASCARAS FADED,
                                     YET I GOT GRACE............................................

[Summary--Living a life of disguise in a world full of lies, the protagonist believes that beyond the clouds there lays an ideal city where he can follow his noble dreams and be his original self. But the world mocks him. Yet he makes beyond the clouds, to his ideal life, only to see men deep below suffering. He is trapped by his conscience and returns to the world, realising that the world can be cured only by LIVING IN IT. Thus he brings the clouds down to the earth, to form his own blissful Utopia]

Pill of Life

Forcing me to hallucinate an unrealistic fate,
This life of mine does make me play, games I love to hate.
Die I may if I don't play, and sit with tears in eyes,
win,I do, to see the day at the cost of others' cries.
Some may win and some may lose, like gluttons we eat through dreams,
to do what he wants to,a rich may chose, the rest ignored downstream's.
Never can we pursue our likes, our dislikes we may follow
what we want to be,we don't,and life just makes us hollow.
empty within with dreams all drained,in the kitchen of a fantasy butcher,
posing as reality of life, forcing us to usher.
why my dreams are censored and cut,and mould to other's needs,
to do what I want and be what I be, these thoughts all plucked like weeds.
If Pill of Life be a personified lady, I would beg "O Miss,
take me from dream butchers to a land of eternal bliss."

Kiss the Rain

KISS THE RAIN
(anguish of a flood survivor)

Distinguish,I can't,between raindrops and tears,
For my face now is a tragedy, carved out by demons .
Do the rains try to soothe, or amplify my fears,
and mock my existence, full of sarcastic puns?
They swayed away,to rhythms of nature,
with rains oiling the wet inferno.
The flood engulfing all beseechers,
wrestling for life, but ending with K.O.
It's me who survives, to tell you the tale,
pale be my face, caressed by the rain.
The armada of dear ones, lifeless they sail,
soaking the rain, the seed of this bane.
Insane now I grow, when I think of days,
when my skin was tickled,by tears of clouds.
But providence failed,as they cried on my face,
and washed away my kin, with me covered in shroud.
Thou kiss the rain, and hail the elation,
your pardon I implore,for it's you I envy.
No peace in my life, a rainy fiction,
with silence before tempest, then silence eternally.

Drench This Sheet Again

As I write, the pen trembles,
Mumbles my mind's verdicts.
Upon my thoughts, it stumbles,
Claims my Ideas are convicts.

As I imagine, my soul I bribe,
And hire it to channel my visions
with ease.
By tides, I'm swayed, away from my
tribe,
While the pen keeps teasing, the
scribe's calm seas.

Extinct notions, the imagination
weaves,
To drape a cloak o'er pessimist eyes.
Like droughts to thirsty drops,
relieves,
Reveals us glimpses of skies.

Eyelids umbrellas, eyes, the clouds,
My hands like napkins, soak the rain.
While heart perspires, yet drips
aloud,
Enough to drench this sheet again...

Her Spirit Awaits Rebirth

Boats sail on rivers,
Ships sail on seas.
But clouds sail across the sky,
Are prettier far than these.

Like creases of horizon,
Pregnant, redolant geese.
Pristine, they fly 'cross the sun,
They shower when tickled by breeze.

She blushes in all her pictures,
Flamboyant, promising blues.
Yet changes her poses and natures,
To suit the lover she sues.

She cures the wilt with love,
Her bosom, elixir it flows.
Viagra, she sprinkles above,
Arousing the life to grow.

Hardwork was the key,
But she changed the locks.
In hearts, we mould, you see,
The keys to open her docks.

Her dad, the weary sun,
Sees her grow in girth.
With time she melts to none,
Her spirit awaits rebirth.....
