Brian Perez Poem
Endowed by my creator,
The gift of feeling
To see, hear, hate, and love thee
Searching frivolously through the night
Hope did leave me and love
I did not find
So friendship never found me, even in the blind
Endowed by my creator,
With the talent to be isolated
To be afraid and hated
And not even in the glacial rugged heights did I find solace,
Nature, who nurses her children, showed me no mercy
In the cold regions of my mind
Friendship never found me

Brian Perez Poem
Is it human nature to want to turn back the hands of time?
We live in a system of trial and error and
Sometimes the error is the heaviest burden
So then what are we with information that is of no use
By the time we learn the moment has passed
What good then does it do?
If I could go back,if I would've said this or done that
Things would be different of course
And a better place it would be
So i could say "hey, distance doesn't mean a thing"
Yet I don't see the ocean churning backwards with the moon at its tail
And I don't see petals falling upwards to a rotting stem
