Jeremia Letswalo Poem
I can feel the contractions in my heart,
Possibilities keep me from falling apart,
Open your emotions and leave open its eye,
The heart is about to birth new love,
Mother Nature blowing me kisses at night,
Real love has never felt this right,
Leaves falling from trees in jubilation,
The world saw your smile and went to gyration
The future looking bright, reality will never disease us,
A bond touched by the only hand of Jesus,
I have seen mankind worship the future memories that created us,
I silently asked them to give praise to the one above us.
Trying to figure out what this dream mean,
Then again I don’t want to spoil what could have been,
A real fantasy.

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
2:AM and I got awoken,
By reality through a word spoken,
In conversation with death,
Telling me it's time I lost my breath,
There's a war going on internally,
Painful thoughts of people I'll leave behind,
Yet they careless in my presence physically,
If I do not wake would they mind?
Stuck in a zone with a millions voices,
Emotions confused by this solitary place,
In the presence of familiar faces,
Still consumed by the lack of choices,
Holding memories in my arms,
I fought illusions to victory, like brothers in arms.

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
We the ones who never sleep,we like stars
painting the sky lighting up the world from dark
thoughts,in this devils hour with my eyes naked
and seeing everything thru the two sided
mirror, watch sadly when breaths and souls leave
various bodies, when the chimneys breathe and
welcome a new day,the white smoke filling the
empty sky,not only is this a signal for popes, but
new lives showering this earth,in case I never
wake, read these lines during the day knowing I
never slept writing this, voices emerging from
innocent wombs, yet in the morning some shall
be covered by tombs, life and death, where do we
go from this earth?

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
I feel so much weight from this world,
This pain embedded in my heart left untold,
Every breath I take to the devil I wish I sold,
But thy hand might my soul came to fold,
Yet memories remain scarred my life
scared, looking in the enemies eyes and see how
they glad, wish i was prepared for heaven and
hell from my mothers silent womb, taking each
day as it comes and nursing its wounds,
Attachments so profound lost I found us be
without her guidance, house just bearing a
political number no longer a home, the grass
greener from the irrigation of everyday tears,
Time doesn't always heal old wounds but it
procrastinates us from reunion with our loved
ones,a family once so damn, let me wipe these
tears from my paining smile, try living a day,a
minute,a second without your current
mother, sister, can u feel the void we try daily to fill
or avoid,I surely miss my sister and how will I
love again when all we get attached to leaves
without saying goodbye,God exist but the agony
persist too,by the time many realize, some will be
celebrating or mourning my demise, its my reality

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
I remember her 1st smile,
A rainbow couldn't be any beautiful,
I remember her 1st words,
Short yet meaningful,
Trying to find the write words to describe her,
But these tears are a perfect ink to convey what I think, though I still hear her voice and sense her presence, do you?
A soul met from eternity in this reality,
A loss condemning humanity into the wilderness of pain, emotions continuously finding themselves under the wheels of a gravy train,
Remembered by heaven so angels answered her ultimate call, opening agonizing sores as a reminder of how the good ones fall, it still looks like a dream, not how it seems, cannot believe that she's truly gone, do you?
Time doesn't always heal immortal wounds,
Though this is our path to part with this earth, when that last breath finally links with the original soil, don't you ever wonder if death ever sleeps?

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
How do you mock he who's chosen by the Gods?
Enslaved minds failing to acknowledge the reality before their eyes,
Cut from different cloths courage cooked from different pots,
Guess I died long ago I'm just living the minutes attached to this mortal flesh,
Breath anxious to part this earth,
You still are trying to piece these lines while I bring peace to your souls, spiritually.
My mind is not mortal; my thoughts are not of the living,
Way passed the human time zone, there I go like a star shot,
Left your mind twerking in confusion, a dust heading into forever on a mission

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
There's no need for an essay for what I'm about
to say,all you have to know is that in this love I
want you stay, grow old with me as we witness
not only your face but beautiful wrinkles grow
young,be with you and see time become
worthless and gates of immortality embrace our
hearts in open arms, share kisses as our two
souls communicate with heart beats,if this isn't
true love I don't think true love exist anymore

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
A note to self
Be still and observe,
If you fail then rehearse,
A note to the heart
Keep your eyes open,
One wrong move you get broken,
A note to happiness,
Please swallow the misery,
If not, then the loneliness,
A note to death,
Kindly keep me alive,
If not on this earth, then in the next life,
Whatever it takes to keep this only breath,
A note to love,
Do away with hate,
A note to the light,
Swallow the darkness,
A note to jealousy,
Get replaced by envy,
A note to mankind,
Keep you humanity.

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
Still waters whispering solutions,bridges these
forgotten roots they carry this life we shan't
marry, profound premonitions under the sea who
dares to visit the mystery that lingers in thy
shores, the silent noise of the waves bearing a
choice but who is there to voice the concerns?
drowning in the lost island with the sharks we're
gonna swim to find peace, resting on the brink of
demise immortality lies in the codes ignored by
man,eye see the future can yours sea?complex
minutes raining on the doorsteps of humankind
yet those seconds we rewind will we ever score
clarity?their language so clear yet these ears we
fail to utilize, the moments we shall memorize
when we visit the cemetery of ignorance, water
runs deep the face of humanity disappears
without a trace, when it reappears the haze of life
glows upon thy gaze,we are the soil yet life
begins and ends under the deepest smiles of
every river,sea where waterfalls,yet I'm confused
still waters no solution,I just saw life calling my
name in the middle of the sea, scary,I waved in
acceptance now my ways are paved

Jeremia Letswalo Poem
When that heart beats no more,
The pain comes quicker, but it doesn't last that
long, when the eyes close suddenly, the future no
longer can be seen, saying goodbye to this and
saying hello to that world, smiles still so are
words, making statements in silence but what
remain are protests in your beloved agonizing
hearts, minds trapped in rivers of tears, looking for
salvation but these black cloud offers no
solution,out of time,time flies,soul in a cemetery
getting serenades from butterflies, loving so true
hard to compare, heart so white rare no man
could dare,a picture forever in our minds we
stare,if humanity be a mistake then yours was no
mistake, everyday toward you we race whilst this
time we gaze, soon this earth we leave so every
moment we embrace,memories we make,your
dearly missed mom.
