Stop Picking On Me

They say love is blind
So i must have 20-20

A bow and arrow with blind boys thumb
All that are needed by the dumb.

A shower of kisses
Red Rose and Snow White.

Appauling beloved
Gathered here tonight

Expect the unexpected
for you it will come to see.

if ogres can find love
Then why can't we?

The Owl and the Pussycat
Managed at sea

Oh why can't we

Because I Am...

Because my day is as dark as my eyes.
Because my mug of coffee is always half full.
Because my hero hides in a dark place.
Because my God is as my hero.

Because my eyes are as dark as the lake.
Because I was born into a dark soiled country.
Because I will die and return to this soil.

Because my fathers heart is darker than mine.
Because my mother cannot find the light.

Because my inside is as beautiful as the surface

Because I am, who i am.

The Future Is Bright

Promises of the future
        shone brighter than today
The air cleared, the fog lifted
Lifted the mist from my eyes

Promises of love and protection
        Passion and fury
Ironic hatred of unfelt feelings
Of misery, of passion, of pleasure

Promises of heartbreaks
        Pain and remorse
Of peep shows, pep talks and
        Mid night walks

By moonlight, by candle
         My cradle and breast
An unearthly suckling
         Will my heart arrest

No cryptic clues
         No tangled secrets
I am my own, and yours
And that's how i keep it

Sunset dies, moonrise begins
My own is fated to a deadly sin
Gluttony, Greed, Sloth or Lust
I am fated to be alone until my moon dies
