Nguyen Minh Hai Nguyen Poem
"When the page looked into my eyes
I looked back and smile…”
Put the swan’s pale wings up to reach the sunset
But the sunlight in the end of the day always stagnated on the ocean’s hair
Never left away
Restless waves
The heart of seashore said something in a tearful voice
And vision went far away
Left me alone
Who kissed the ocean’s silent hair passionately?
The swan glacially closed her soaked eyes
In her dreams, there were a lot of unreachable things
Far, far away
Please, don’t leave the swan!
The fate, the fate!
Why are you so truthful?
To look at yourself on the destiny mirror!

Nguyen Minh Hai Nguyen Poem
“Hey the girl burning my heart’s flame
I hope you were a little tender!...”
I saw the girl burning my heart’s flame was singing a song
And turning round and round with other boys in the melody
Vacant glance
No see
I saw the girl burning my heart’s flame was spattered with water colours
When she drew a silent picture
No shape
And stepped on the ground by bare feet
I saw the girl burning my heart’s flame was crying
She bit her mouth till blood was spilt
And tears was the precious giving
Spakly reddish eyelash
Hey the girl burning my heart’s flame
I hope you were a little tender
Let my strong arm
Holded your heart
Flaming
Tender

Nguyen Minh Hai Nguyen Poem
Dry days burned patience till withered away.
Ice-cream was as sweet as honey on the lips
Huff and puff !
Love the sour and scornful season!
Miss the streets on the cold rainy days
Dreamed…
Lovers ran on the rain
Find shelter to hid from rain as in romantic films
But these days!
The sun was burning hot. Drought!
We found shelter to hide from sunlight, baby!
Your lip became rosy
Your skin became brownish, your hair became sunburnt
By the sunlight
However I love you passionately
You smiled
Like the sunlight smiled coolly

Nguyen Minh Hai Nguyen Poem
You asked me why
I’ve never known
The fate teased mischievously some girls
Like me
Thrown one to us
And the division into two became too difficutl
Love, cleverly initiated impossible things
I became to fear love
Like arrow didn’t see the future
And greaness of soul didn’t listen to something wise saied
We standed together, next to each other, and look straight ahead
You looked at me, I looked at the other
And maybe after you
There was fool who looked at you
Like me – look straight ahead, only
Oh, happiness hid and sought with impossible things
What a difficult look back !
We would smile perfectly
In other’s arms
