Life Is Like a Flowing River

Life is like river
with a constant flow
death dealer and life giver
in its murky waters we grow
not much of a forgiver
cold riptides can drag you below
but be strong and don't shiver

the current is worth fighting
more then you know...

love and hate both in its quiver
life can take a turn as it bows
not much of a forgiver
learn to roll with its blows
no one knows whats downriver
and only time shows

Just remember...
life is like a river
it constantly flows

Love At First Party

Meeting you, Opend a new world in me

a world that with out you I might never see

love...never thought it would be worth being a member

Yet a fondness ignited, like a burning ember

A night to remember with all my might

Your beautys got me twisted and im high as a kite

We partyed untill morning sun shown

You left me with a feeling like i had just flown

Shes Beautiful Like the Moon, Part 1

Staring up at the moon
She seems so sad
Alone in a silent black blue sky
She sits and waits
I look on with remorse
As she slowly sinks
Wish I was a rocket man
For her I would do anything
Morning light breaks
Now she's gone
And i'm alone
so I sit and wait...

Forbidden Love

A love that burns under an Icy roof
Locked inside I hide the truth
The flame begins to melt the cold
My heart is yours alone to hold

She is the woman of my dreams
of my thoughts when I cannot sleep
though her heart is part of mine
it is a secret that no one may find

She is the wind to my souls sail
adrift with the key to her ocean
The ice begins to drip below
This frozen ceiling is our flames foe

A love that burns under an icy roof
The wet coals can be the only proof
For this love is most forbidden
And in our hearts it must stay hidden

To the Moon and Back, Part 2

I love you to the moon and back
our sky no longer is so black
I am your rocket man
footprints I leave in your white sand
trace the steps of loves dance
holding my breath I steal my chance
our words hush as our lips collide
moon-bound again what a ride

Something Like

Something like bliss
I love this part
that sweet first kiss
was Cupid's dart...

Something like a dream
yet the pain is real
we let off steam
its no big deal...

something is a miss
I hate this part
that first thrown fist
made me smart...

Something is gone
the pain still here
lay awake until dawn
and shed my last tear...

An Explosion of Elusive Love

Love is elusive...

An explosion lights a place forgotten by the light
dim streaks filter in...
uncovering a treasure long sunk in shadows

The cold is dispatched as the air turns warm
a single flower blooms...
what a beautiful shade of red

I step softly drawn to its crimson glow
feeling of deja vu...
the floor seems to tremble and I seem to fall

Compelled to get up all I can do is stare
a sick chill creeps in...
the light gets brighter my eyes need to adjust

Boom! another explosion...
it all turns to dust

Let Your Heart Be the Guide

The dew falls as the sun begins to rise
Tears gather as the heart begins its cries
The night lifts as he softly wipes her eyes
It wouldn't work no matter how he tried
Salty sweet tears and floor collide
The puddle forming is causing him to divide
Should he act now or his time bide
She said let your heart be the guide
So he softly whispers be my bride
In the world just you, me, sun, and seaside

Lost In a Dark Light

Got told to look what's going on around me
But I'm scared to really see
Lost myself and just can't seem to find my way back
My shining sun I've been told is black
Will I find the right path
At my life no more can I laugh
Tears I fight back as I know I will crumble
My black sun blinds me and I stumble
Close my eyes to see more pain hurting my heart
Can't take any more
My heart and body are just so sore
My head hurts with the questions that end in why
Punches to the heart are just so wrong
Here's where again it goes on to long
Warnings were there thought I could cope
But me being in control found a down hill slope...
