The Student

Buzz, Buzz,
still tiered eyes open,
She walks down stairs, packs up, and gets on the bus,
She stares out the window wishing to spend the day there and not at a desk.
7 FULL HOURS of of unempathetic teachers,
they give her 6 more hours of school work to do at home.
No one cares!

The homework starts on the bus and she's lucky to have it done by 10PM.
Finely, she gets to go to bed,
But all she does is stare at the sealing with the overhanging stress of the work she didn't finish combined with the work her unrelenting teachers will give her tomorrow.

It happens each day,
It's beyond her control,
she tells teachers and friends but they spit in her face telling her they don't care.
It won't change.

Luckily, she has her head on strait,
and while she trudges through the mud she stays strong,
knowing that everything is going to work out.
So she tells herself just wait.

The First Day of High School

Concrete jail like walls,
Butterflies flying around in my stomach,
Friends,
Art,
Pottery,
Noise,
Strangers,
Wandering around in a big school,
Mouthwatering PB and J for lunch,
Depressing,
Never ending day,
Pencils,
Pens,
Eyes drooping from exhaustion,
Smiles,
Confusion.

Mom

Can I tell you, Mom, that I love you?
You smile so bright it lights up a room,
I can’t help appreciate all that you do,
Like you make luscious flowers bloom.
Rough winds do try to shake your beauty,
You stand tight and hold steady.
Raising me was your solemn duty,
When being there for me, you were always ready.
But though your age, your job shall not end,
For your job as a mother will be vigorous,
You will always have a helping hand to lend,
And that is why you’re marvelous!
When your brown hair gets all white and gray,
I’ll be there to help you like you do today.

Pacific Bay

Fog rolling in,
Making the sea go a gray,
Kid’s body surfing all day,
In a cold pacific bay,
The children are laughing,
To the sway,
Of the ice cold waves roaring away.

I hear my mom calling to me faraway,
To come back to shore,
And stay.

For I was tiring in this pacific bay,
Because of the numbing cold,
That could not let me stay,
In the icy water of this pacific bay.

Me

I have fought,
And lost,
But now I realize,
I am who I am,
Nothing can discourage me,
I am strong,
I am me.

Anger

It's a blob
A blob of lava,
freshly thrown out of he erupting volcano.
It's steaming,
destroying everything I touches.
Others see It and throw buckets of water onto it to cool it off.

Sometimes this tactic works,
but most of the time it stays
burning its way up from the core.
It keeps running its course,
till it touches someone,
and they react.

Happieness

Smileing wide and bright,
Reflecting a happieness,
That will shine always.

Problem

Once and awhile we come across a problem,
it takes control of us,
depresses us.
Some how we come through,
we solve it,
show it that it wont disturb us any more.
we are strong,
and always will be.

Little Pebble

Little pebble in my path,
Will not come in vain,
Once times past,
I will worry about it now,
But not tomorrow,
For it will be only a little pebble on my life path.
