Today is amazing in more ways
than one
Today I got to spend time with
my daughter and be her mum
You bring so much joy to my
life , more than you will ever
know
I love you no matter what we
do or where we go
I have been given a special gift
To love and guide in life
So when I say I love you every
thing will be alright
We are strong in spirit , strong
in mind
So it doesn't matter what
people throw at us we will
always have peace of mind
To achieve so much in such
little time
Just shows how strong you can
be
You are amazing in all that you
do
That's why I'm proud to be
your mother and I love you

24 years ago I got a precious
gift
A beautiful baby girl
To love with all my heart
And I have right from the start
To watch her grow
From strength to strength
And become the woman she is
today
So much love to give to all
around
I'm do proud of you in every
way
And I thank god for each and
every day
A mother daughter bond that
cannot be broken
And many words that don't
need to be spoken
We are close in so many ways
We share each others pain and
joy each and every day
Happy birthday darling
Loving you yesterday, today,
tomorrow and beyond

Life as a Butterfly
Beautiful in every way
Flying free through life, not a care in the world
soaring the highest mountians
Flying with ease
Until he drops to he's knees
Wings broken, Soul damaged
But still finds hope to carry on
Life rebuilds in different ways
New hope is given and life begins, But without his wings
Walking along the new path that lies ahead
Trying to stay possitive without feeling like he's dead
He will swallow his pride and start a new journey
Walking and gaining strength along the way
Taking one day at a time
learning to live without wings,trying new things
Love and strength will get him through
Reaching new depths he never knew
Enjoying every moment of his new wingless life
Trying to stay focussed on the shining light
Taking each new breath with ease, feeling the beautiful breeze
Appreciating each new step, walking with no regret

Life is one big illusion
The power of magic
What you think is there isn't really there at all
You make the mistake of seeing what you believe to be true
Once uncovered nothing appears as you saw it
You get caught up in the imagination of what you wish you could see
The different colors that fill the mind
The magical powers that pull at your heart
All it really does pull you apart
And then you are back right at the start
Nothing to have , nothing to hold
But no one could tell you because you wouldn't be told
You hang on to your imagination
Hoping you will see what's to be revealed
Once the illusion has taken over your heart and the colors fill your mind
Then it's all been lifted and your back at the start
Seeing things in a simple way is so hard to do
But just relax and see what is best for you
Staying and facing the world without its magical powers and the bright colors that fill your mind
Is some times easier and kind
Believe what you want and see what you need to see
But at the end of the day in the world it's just what you need that matters

Thinking positive is hard to do
When so many people are
telling you what you should do
I'm learning again to have faith
in my heart
I feel this is a beginning of a
brand new start
When all else fails look above
God has released a special dove
To look upon me no matter
what I do
To reassure me that he cares
too
With faith in one hand and God
in the other
I'm so blessed I'm a mother
Two beautiful children to hold
and to love
They were sent to me from God
above
Unconditional love from the
start
They have embraced it with all
their heart
My children are there when I
fall
Gently whispering, mum you
can stand tall
I wipe my tears and opened my
eyes
To see my children standing so
young and wise
With warmth and love in their
heart
I promised to god I will make a
new start
My children mean the world to
me
And this wasn't a good place to
be
Ten steps forward and no steps
back
walking with my children on the
right track

A mother a daughter a sister a wife
So much accomplished in such a short life
To hit rock bottom all alone
It's not what I thought I would have known
I pray to God that he shines his light
So I can get comfort through out the night
He grants me a new day with the sun beaming down
But I feel like I'm on a merry go round
Ups and down and all around
feels like I'm walking on unsoiled ground
With hope in mind and faith at heart
I know God will grant me a brand new start

We are who we are
You cannot change the person
Be true to yourself and you will
see
That that's the way it's meant
to be
We are all different in so many
ways
That's what makes it like a
maze
To find a way out is ever so
easy
Or stick around and see its
pleasing
It's all got to do with the
positive thinking
Allow your self to be free from
sinking
Taking one day at a time and i
will soon see
That good things happen to
people like me
Taking a chance is worth the
while
Cause I know in my heart it will
end with a smile

You have guided me right from the start
So when I tell you that I love you I mean it with all my heart
Your love and support along the way
Is what has made who I am today
You are a loving father in more ways than one
And I'm so proud to be called your son
We have a father , Son bond that can't be broken
And to me this is a huge token
You give so much and ask for nothing in return
And that is what I have grown up to learn
If everyone had a chance to have a father like you
The world would be so much better because of you

Life is hard, every day is a struggle
Mistakes been made with regret
Friendships broken
Lives turned upside down
Hearts torn in two, Not sure what to do
Where to turn next , what steps to take, before I mentally break
Circumstances change in no particular order
But life still seems so distorted
People change, environment changes but no words are exchanged
Good memories are not enough to hold onto with hope in mind
I'm lost and i need to be found , is life worth staying around
Some one show me the light and say a little prayer before I get to despaired
what once was there isn't anymore , all I need to do is find the strength to open the door
Walk free and fly high and don't look back , ten steps forward and no steps back

God shinned his light
And said you will be a mother
tonight
I have a daughter that is
beautiful and kind
I know I can call on her any
time
She is pure and honest In all
that she does
And never ask people to make
a fuss
She is there when I need her
And there when I don't
She has a heart of gold
That cannot be sold
To share the love and warmth
that comes from her heart
In all that she does we are
never really apart
She is such a blessing to have
in my life
And has never caused a days
strife
How blessed am I in so many
ways
To wake each morning and
share my days
I treasure my daughter in more
ways than one
And because of her ,I love
being a mum
