Fried Beans and Eggs

There is no better food
	fried beans and eggs
When times are tough
fried beans and eggs will keep you full
When times are good
fried beans and eggs will keep you regular
Beans and eggs fried in butter
	tortillas: preferred
	toast: is okay
	crackers: in a pinch
Fried beans and eggs when you are hungry
Beans and eggs served with
	cheese
	onions
	olives
	sour cream
	jalapeno sauce
Fried beans and eggs when you are poor
But you must:
	never ask for ketchup
or you will be told to leave

Average Day

Average day
We get up in the morning
We have breakfast but don't talk
Leaving for work, hesitating, looking for a reason to say goodbye

Work is sometimes busy
People yelling, the stacks of paper seem endless
Other times there is nothing to do
We joke quietly, reading the news
I sneak off to the fire escape
Standing 200 feet up I pull in the putrid city smell
At five we get up and say our goodbyes
The last words we will speak for the day

the hour drive home is slow, there really is no hurry
There are no hugs or kisses waiting
Quietly I walk in, so as not to disturb myself

Shadow

At every meeting
behind every podium
	I stand
when I have the floor
	And times when I don't
I stutter before I speak
Only slightly, for I have control
No one sees the shadow that crosses my face
I swallow down the desire to speak the truth
It isn't any of their business
I get to the business at hand
	Stifling my desire
It has ruined me
Made me into what I am

At the end of every day
Behind my front door
	I bow down
I lay on the floor
	I drink
I drink to my loss
	I loose control
	And slip into the shadow
I smile and whisper the words
"My name is Bill and I am an alcoholic"

The Devil's Wife

The Devil's wife
The Church of God is the bride of Christ
Therefor the false church is the bride of Satan
Are you the Devil's wife?

Answer the question
Yet your words mean nothing
Your actions prove the truth
Show your nature, God will judge

The Devil's wife
Crying for peace she kills her brothers
Declaring love she aborts her children
Deceit at its finest

I've met her;
She was friend at school
I reported to her at work
She goes to church every week

The Devil's wife
with her selfish drive
Her false zeal and concern
She has proven her vanity

There are but two choices
The bride of Christ
The bride of Satan
Where do you stand?

Wind

Piss and wind
Blow in the night
Flowing down stream

Piss and wind
As the wind blows, the piss flows
And a man is relieved

A Tale of Two Farts

I was walking along one day
I farted
The guy beside me farted himself to the moon
I wish I could fart on after him
But, the two farts are over

Dancing

Dancing in the darkness, unable to see
I fall to the ground, finding myself alone

Many can see the pain when it isn't there
I can't see anything (anywhere)

I open my eyes to the darkness
I welcome it
I fight it

I close my eyes and reach out, it can't be felt

I am blind

I stumble across a friend
Two walking without sight
Forward
Backward
Where are we going

I turn to my friend and can't see them

I crave for some light, some insight
I sit and wait wasting my time

I know what to do, why can't I do it

When I am hungry I eat, at least I want to
When I am tired I sleep, at times without choice
Why then won't I open my eyes so I can see

I know how
Why don't I want to
