Wilted Roses

Don't you remember the nights we spent together
you laid in my arms and wished time stop forever
how have you forgotten
why did I love you turn to silence
why did I miss you turn to violence
I wish you would remember
all the feelings we shared together
you ripped out my heart
stuck it on the burner
you left me to bleed
you left me in silence

Find Me

If our last chance to make stars collide before our eyes
will you finally see the light blue skies
or will you be scared and hide behind barbed wire lies
lies that cut deep and don't let go
scars that will never truly show
be true to yourself and you will believe
that the light blue skies will never leave
so stare up and see what I see
and before your eyes, you will find me.

Sparks Afire

bright skies swallowed by darkness
sparks of love set afire

glowing flames at my back
guide my way through the gloom
moving slow fearing whats lost
looking back I get burned
reminding me there's nothing left

Iv found my home
just enough rain to not get burned
just enough light to know I'm alive

I hope you find your light
brighter then i could shine
don't worry about me
ill be just fine.

Rays of Reality

your in my dreams i know, a familiar feeling lost in time
detailed memory's floating up in space
now on the moon running from life
shooting rays of reality I cant escape
in a blink your gone and I'm blinded by light
iv lost you again but ill see you tonight

Oceanstide

it falls apart and gets put back together
it plays with your heart and turns forever into never
every decision made from inside
brings a new wave in the oceans tide
something new gets washed up everyday
its what we make of it that shows our way

Just a Glance

With just a glance her eyes pierce your heart
a connection unseen and unspoken of
as she looks away a new feeling falls upon you
what is this pain
what is this emptiness
lost love that was never yours to begin with?
how can you chase such rainbows with no end in sight
If only you could fly
If only you could try
follow your heart beating with eyes open wide
calm the smouldering thoughts whirling around your pride
take a leap and if you fall, you tried.

Dried Paint

This is were it began
My room now cyan
We painted it together
And thought it was forever

We were wrong
It was bound to end all along
But I'm still young and have much to gain
So give me all you got sun or rain.

Burning Bridges

the silent air swallows my connection to my inner self
eternity passes before I can take my next step
on this flaming bridge unsure of more
looking back to see my footprints in the ash
faded love and hatred all around
so forward ill go facing my fears
just to find a road flooding with tears.

Automatic

wake up hit the clock
everything is automatic
everything is moving
like a clock a vicious cycle
spinning to fast to keep up
we are faded shadows seeking life
emotions standing by our side
deadlines print stress
limit our script
inspiration in the form of a smudge
feelings never to be judged
inspiration as seen
in the shimmer of our eyes
obscure like in a dream
desire can seem so obscene.
