God Thinks (Life Part Ii)

Life isn't made for quitting
Life isn't nice
It doesn't give you challenges for no reason
But life gives you obstacles for strength
If you can't succeed
You won't be reward
And you'll never change
Then you're just.....there to WATCH life
Life isn't made for wimps
We weren't put here because GOd doesn't think we're ready
We're here because he does
Why do you think you and i weren't put here during the Civil RIghts Movement
So take ricks
Put yourself out there
Step up
AN dspeak out
Because if God didn't think we were ready
Or we would quit
He wouldn't have put us here---on Earth at this time
Life isn't made for the weak
Just the strong
And God thinksyou're strong
Because you are here NOW!

Small

He'll roam around
Draw on the wall
Tee-pee the dog
And flood the toilet
He'll run through the house
Break expensive things
Smile and say I'm sorry
And you'll always forgive him
He'll wait on the couch
'Til Barney comes on
Pretend he's asleep when he's suppose to be in bed
You feed him every four hours
And your his world
He'll look at you with those big brown eyes
Smile that staggle-tooth smile
You'll know
That's your son
And you'll let him be small

Broken Glass

You pick it up
Try to fix the shattered pieces
Apologize for what you did
But everyone knows your true feelings

Act like everythings okay
Until somebody else notices
Try to make up excuses
Because you know the reasons you did it

Call your lawyer because you know somethings about to happen
Deny it all as the cops drag you away in handcuffs
All that's left is my heart
Like broken glass on the floor

From this war
I'm tired of fighting

What Was She Thinking

Behind the face of a young girl
Is a life she must suffer to be known
All those nights of her parents fighting
All those times she would be beaten for no reason
What was she thinking
The time people talk about how big she is
Or how much she eats at lunch
What was she thinking
All those times her mom pushed her aside
To help those around her
Even after what they did
What was she thinking
The times where she was being all she could be
And they just said great & went on with their lives
What was she thinking
All those times she wanted to leave
Or grab a knife and cut herself limb from limb
What was she thinking
She was thinking that she would finally get some attention
And be really seen for the first time in her life

Regret

Unable to understand
The only thing I can recommend
The way I feel inside
Is that everyone should realize
I just want my writing to reflex me
AI just want to speakly freely
I'm not meaning to hurt you
Ijust wan tto tel the truth
About the views I see
And what I think it to be
I love you all with all my heart
And I don't wan tmy words to split us apart
I just want it to be made clear
It's not how it appears
I write it because I've moved on
Like a dark cloud at the break of dawn
So when ya'll got upset
It made me regret
I shouldn't have to feel this way
Especially if they're my words I'm saying

In the Name of Love

Love is what some guys say to you into bed
Love is the excuse they use to break it off
Love is how you feel when you give birth to your bastard child, James
Love is his fathers alibi for never seeing him
Love is the pain James feels
Love is why he thinks his dad doesn't love him
Love is the reasons James came to hate him
And love is the main reason James killed his father

Forgotten

Lost and no where to be found
Everyone thinks I've return home to the clouds
Pushed aside to watch others shine
Not able to chase a dream of mine
Going crazy yet no one cares
This life of mine which I cannot bare
Stranded in these wods unable to see
Left for dead if it could be
Making judgements on my actions
Waiting for him in a timely fashion
Spenting all my time all alone in my room
Let someone noctice I'm not there soon
Around others who don't know I'm there
Why don't people care
In a world that doesn't get along
I've been forgotten for far to long

Views

I am the child of a mother who doesn't care
Who pretends to not see the life I can't bare
I am a the sister of a boy who blames me
Why can't the truth be seen
I am the younger sister of a girl who gets what she wants
Even when she's sitting in cell block three
I am the daughter of a man who isn't there
How can he understand if he doesn't listen to me completely
I am the older sister to a other girl who is always testing my rage
Can't she the box I'm in is a cage
I am a student of a school that doesn't know
The misery of my life that needs to be shown
I am a girl who wants to run away
Rather than being tortured everyday

Tomorrow

You always put it off
But what if your taken today
What if Jesus comes today
What if you're not able to fix it
God is the only one who can judge you
What are you going to say to him
"Oh I'm sorry I was going to but.."
So it's up to you
Make Tomorrow today
Or let the days fade away
Tomorrow is an excuse
Because you're barely promise today

Love Is

Love is an obsession
To show your expression
Which will one day become depression
Will they ever learn this lesson

It will never last
Like a nerd it's an out-cast
Hidden in a large mass
That will one day be your past

Thinking it will bring you fame
To go through the struggle to prove the claim
Only adding fuel to the flames
When on you they place the blame

It uses you like a rusty tool
Then trys to drown you in a pool
This makes everyone look like fools
Because love...
Love is so cruel
