All Things Grow With Love

All things grow with love
All things grow with love
You see;
Take a little time
come and and walk with me
And plant the seed.
A little kiss of tenderness
A little bit of hope you see
Through the tears and the thorns
The sea and the storms
Love will come shining through
A little sacrifce
I give you my life.

Son of a Poet

With a pen to write;
with fingers to type;
I write anew;
This a new spring for me summer is gone;
autumn near winter flees.
It's in my blood; the ink the feather.
wandering soul; so long;

Irish bones african heartbeat.
Because of the english we make sound sweet.

It is who i am; where i go it gives me
voice; when i myself hide in shadows.
I can sing to that special one; romantic i am by nature.
I hold with both hands her features.
"Let down your walls great city." they shout. Why should I; for they only
pillage me.
Why battle with this blank page?
It is my blood; a fight i win.
how can you know? Do you take the time to
talk, to see , to understand?
Every step, evry stroke of the pen; again and again.
 Every story and rhyme, now and
in future time.
Cry a river, spell a dream, sing a song
never seen.
For a penny, for a dime?
No!
I am the son of a poet.

Soldier

Alone but not alone on his battle field
Only a sword and a shield to wield
He opens his eyes, and grips the hilt
Raises the shield; runsthrough the rain
The army he fights is great
Outnumbered; pressed
Into the batlle with a mighty cry
Swinging the sword with skill and zeal so he wont die.
He is shot in the back; an unexpected attack
But still plows foward
His wound severe; death seems near
Black skys; blurry vision
"NOOOO"
He screams; sword thrusts into the ground
Is he finished?
He whispers
"help me...!"
Renewed strength, breath back in the lungs
Strength to the bones.
He fights his way up the steep hill
Stands victorious
Looks down and sees yet another army to fight!

Bones of Iron

Bones of iron, breath of steal
Heart of love, mind of hope
Fists of fire feet of smoke
Teeth of stone, eyes of glass
Face of future, back the past
