Release To Renew

You are in everything I do, through
every day,
From the clothes I wear, and the
words I say.
I can't complain for I love you like
no other,
Captivated my dreams, it's you my
gorgeous lover.
Can you still recall my touch, the
depths of our kiss,
The moments I swore that love was
made of this.
Miss you so, though I picked up and
had to start a new.
You're what was and I'm so glad
she's not you,
Trying to release your memory, so I
may be fair to her.
Her tenderness releases what
makes me bitter.
Her kisses melt away the pain you
left behind,
She's all I need, something I've
learned with time.
Her words fill more true, the more
you fade away,
No convincing needed for she'll win
what you gave away.
So many wanted what you had, and
now I'm happy,
You're a memory I will let go, for I'm
no longer lonely.
I'm growing stronger a testament to
the gazes I catch,
My inner confidence awaken
because you hated that.
I don't care, that you'll never hear
this from me.
I've poured out my heart before still
you set me free.
Here's my new leaf and thanking
God for being blessed,
Here's to me and her, because I can
lay you to rest.
Cause she causes me to grin on the
inside, so see my smile,
You, I did love, but your love hasn't
been here for awhile.

Letting Go

Headed down this road
Sit back, relax, in chill mood
I've been down this road
Never rush, you will fall
I'd change it all if I could
My scars attest to every fall
A lesson is a lesson learned
Open mindedness ended in youth
A testament I've learned
The Road of life is to thrive
Survive is more to the truth
Yesterday causes my Faith to thrive
God, thanks for every blessed day
Oh I believe but not in church
Unseen blessings with every day
Don't care what the next does
My views were deferent since birth
I want happiness as everyone does
Bust my ass to earn a dollar less
Who's truly blessed, the rich or poor
Can't say we don't know who has
less
I let go reality for my humanity
For I'll finish no higher I'm sure
I'll care an educate to save my
humanity
I let go of the things which carry a
price
If happiness came with a price it be
owned
My Soul like happiness is worth it's
price
Sell your Soul for what ever guilty
pleasure
You sold an stole something you
never owned
I'd rather live with less than live of
ease an pleasure

Need To Live

How we all try our best to hang on,
Know some of us can't fight that
long.
We watch as it's pain over takes you,
We watch in sadness because this is
all we can do.
I sensed your frailty within the tone
of your voice,
If we could change places, I'd make
that choice.
I don't want to lose you now or
ever,
I plead and plead for the day your
better.
Such words of truth from the heart,
But know this is but a small part.
Yes! At times it feels we can't win,
But truth is, you have the strength
within.
Focus on all your grins and true
friends.
Then happiness grows with no
depends.
But those days seem so far away
from today,
No! I will never leave you alone or
agree to walk away.
For this world would dim without
you here.
Know your worth through me, my
Dear.
You are my friend, my only one who
knows me,
Please never give up, please live.
Oh, please believe.
There are others who would grieve
to see you go,
With your smiles, laughter, all the
things we love and know,
That makes you worth every night
we spend by your side,
If you gave up, you wouldn't be the
only thing that died.
We cling to to each other for
strength to overcome,
Through God above, thy kingdom
come, thy will be done,
This time is not your time, so please
hang on,
And know you don't fight alone, no
matter how long.
Believe and see how much you are
loved by us,
If you lose hope let us help you to
refocus.
Release the negative and revive in
the positive,
Because I care enough to see you
live...

Reign Or Save

Let me place reason in my step,
Life's journey is filled with regret.
So we try to atone for our mistakes,
With each blessed day we wake.
So many walk over others,
Claiming that is why they're better.
Why do we cling to those who hurt
us,
Torn apart with every fuss.
So lost like the tears that fall,
No way to reclaim them all.
Trying always to correct the shame,
Life is not a test or game.
Smirk that you've won today,
Yet every life passes the same way.
Bring suffering onto us for your
pride,
Lie that no one's held you while you
cried.
Selfishness never releases mercy,
And so they claim they couldn't see.
Lying that life is nothing more than
one's fate,
Trouble is we see the truth way to
late.
We must learn to walk with each
other,
Nothing changes, if we don't learn
to care for one another.
If you believe that it's better to be
strong,
What will you take once your breath
is gone.
Will you regret or claim you've won..

The Other Guy

I'm just a Guy with brown eyes,
Those who know me say I'm nice.
A friend of friends to begin,
But I like to laugh and make you
grin.
My life is the same yet unlike most,
Odd are the things worth a boast.
And my achievements do not
define,
I'm like most that enjoys my life.
I've lived and have loved deeply,
Felt sadness and known what wrath
be.
Seen life from out many windows.
Some from plans, cars, or hotels.
Life is a step like passing days,
Dinner has came from tables or
trays.
Love has left me speechless in
silence,
I've been treated like a bum to a
prince.
Stood in line, also bypassed to the
front,
Life can cause you to say, What!
I'm down to earth which is
humbling,
I'm only what this life has made me.
And even then I'm always changing,
The simple life of laughs and peace.
To enjoy my ups and coming
blessings
And knowing being down isn't
everlasting.
I'm just a Guy with brown eyes,
A man as life could only define...

Looking Back

At times or days i feel like stone
Not moving for the better always
alone.
i ask questions; hoping to unlock an
answer
If no reason is found, there is
another
Day to understand, why am i
troubled.
If it was easy it would've been
revealed
Nothing good ever comes easily
But lies come before truth so freely.
What am i doing in this mood?
Where’s my happiness; my good?
Finding myself following the lost,
But when do i get to be the boss.
It’s my life i am suppose to live
But by the examples others give.
Following because it made a change
But it's your effort that made the
grade.
Get up, get out, and change it up,
God is ready if you are done giving
up.
Stuck in the "why is my life that's so
wrong?"
But the problem is we've waited too
long.
Time to react and stop licking your
wounds,
Take the chance overcome your
dues.
Today’s a new day to make it right,
Show them all the truth to spite.
No longer stone to find our resolve,
It’s self so the problem can be
solved.
The answers today to the questions
I ask,
New direction; So I’m not looking
back...

I Know

Happiness cost nothing in reviving
our soul,
God sends his Angels, but never in a
way you think.
Know that this Devilish World will
take it's toil,
There's truth to this story pay
attention before you sink.
Allowing the world to change my
views about life,
To were I only care about my next
paycheck.
See money is everything, we can't
tell cause of strife.
Watch for you'll always end up a
wreck.
I've seen the selfishness within my
own life and paid,
Learned those in my life remind me
of truths which matters.
So we are the choices we make, if
we deny friendly aid.
Believe me or not, hoping to change
my life's patterns.
Nothing matters more than those
you hold close,
For they are the ones that never
walk away.
They're as important to you as water
is to a rose.
Not like the selfish whose only care
is for their own ways.
Nothing means more than what you
hold dear,
So love those which truly love you
for what's within.
For nothing else will fill the
loneliness that we all fear,
This somethings missing feeling is
the way life has been.
Watching the dizzling rain outside
from my window pain,
There is always been beauty there if
only I wished to see,
Causing my mind to strain over
emotions I contain.
Release this conterversual humanity
and realize simplicity.

My Love

Enough is just a word to end,
This inner pain that comes over and
agian.
Never releases as though i am not
heard.
These emotions are never
preferred.
As saddness is always so heavy,
Days as streangth becomes weary.
Slumber has seemed to become my
haven.
My tears are always what's been
given.
No confort as there is only the
knowlage,
That all in life hangs upon an edge.
How am I to raise aginst the weight,
Or am I to finally bend to my fate.
Tears could not wash away my pain,
Or the hurt thats carried through
my vains.
Loudly I've shouted "This is enough"
Another day I've cared not to Love.
Let me live life with saddness,
For I dreamt the Joke of Happiness.

Step Off

Step back for your cruelty wreaks, as
your shallow compliments.
All my life I've seen your kind hurt
others to claim accomplishments.
Caring only for there own needs and
their selfish dreams,
Manipulating peoples good
intentions for your own scheme.
I wish I was unaware like the others
to your deeds,
I guess it doesn't matter to you not
like your pride and greed.
We step on grass like we step on
people,
No longer give respect as we pass
the steeple.
I've seen your hidden vanity behind
your eyes,
Trust no promises ask the Native
Americans why.
The game is to hustle and claim all
that you deserve.
We're all meant to be Kings, but
someone must serve.
I'm better than you, this mind frame
is powerful tool,
Spit on everything and deceive by
using the Golden Rule.
Promise the world to any that'll get
you what you want, never stop,
Care for no one and stay focused on
the race to the top.
And make your own path
Selfishness is the first class,
While you're walking on the
sidewalk just look at the grass.
Evil begets evil, so the cycle
continues.
Come on people, let's resolve our
selfish issues.
No one listens like a Rape Victim
screaming out!
But no one answers, when we bitch
and shout!
The only time we really care is when
we're on our knees.
Yet you won't change, cause you
care not to hear our pleas.
Just step on everyone like grass and
clean your feet,
I'll give you the other cheek but
never in defeat.

What's Loss

Where is the part that I've loss,
Was it real or was it false.
Could it be me or another lie,
It's eating me till I wish to die.
A sad shadow of what was,
I tryed but it wasn't enough.
Claiming what is left of me,
Always fighting to be free.
The truth is the emptiness
Within that causes me to miss;
A kiss, and the bliss of love.
An all to known part of;
A root, a part of my heart;
Drops and falls to peices.
Hope, a vellain to the crisis.
I'm lost in the dark, alone
With the silenced cries, moans;
Flown away with what was best.
See this is all that was left!
Attests to another test from God,
Wasn't passed on, so spoil the rod.
I confess the rest, till I regress,
But this pain never seem to be less.
I guess, I'll suffer and never be free,
This world took the best of me...
