Rush Rush Rush

Rush rush rush
people rushing here and there
trying to get somewhere

They scowl they shout
they push and push
rush rush rush

Going nowhere fast
they shout they scream
this i assure is not a dream

Oh my God
i saw someone smile
the others look with such vile

Trudging along
they didn't have a care
wondering if they going to share.

The Internet

Sat all alone here in my room,
surprisingly enough i have no gloom,
tapping away at my keyboard,
this is a cheap one,the only one i could afford,
it gets me on line,i view the world,
some of its good some of it disturbed,
i have learnt a lot from my cheap computer,
now i feel like I'm a world commuter,
emails Ive sent,emails received,
Ive been scammed and badly deceived,
made friends of my own from far away,
this is just awesome what can i say,
knowledge abundant at the click of a button,
from China and America and even Sutton,
well now its time for me to go,
so farewell my new friends i leave with woe.

Here I Sit

Spat and kicked at
verbally abused,
treated like dirt
i have been abused

Overpowering stench
stomach churning smell
ragged torn clothes
this is my shell

Sitting and begging
here on this bench
no-one stops
because of the stench

Hungry lonely homeless
nowhere to go
here i sit all alone
i thought you should know

Remembrance

Flags flying at half mast,
Remembering the people from our past,
On a cold Autumns day all over the land,
In sadness they gather, together they stand,
The price of freedom is what they paid,
As they rest in the ground, here they are laid.
Gratitude and thanks for the life we live now,
They gave up their lives that was their vow.
Remembering them once a year,
They fought for freedom that's why we are here,
Prayers of thanks and remembrance, ring round all over this land,
They fought off tyranny so we could unite and stand,
To those brave men and women we owe so much

Boogie On Down

Out on the dance floor, boogieing away,
dancing to the music that the dj's play,
from rap to rock to country and soul,
dancing around, having fun is my goal.
it doesn't matter that i cannot dance,
but when that music starts its like I'm in a trance.
moving my feet,swaying my hips,
shaking my booty as the sweat drips,
the music slows to a more seductive pace,
now i can dance with such elegant grace,
finally the DJ plays the last song,
then on come the lights time to move on.
