Living Busy

i watch the sunset, i missed the sun up,
i watch the light fade, and the moon appear as the nights sun,
but i get no warmth from the dim light,
my eyes become heavy from todays fight,
and as i fall asleep and dream i pray to God,

O' Lord give me strength and give me might,
help my soul rest and let my pain bleed out of me as only a dream,
bless me that i'll open my eyes to a new day and find peace,
and before i finish i fall asleep with out saying in the name of His son and Amen.

then morning comes the birds sing, but so tired i snore through it all,
i get up late and get ready and fight life agian cause i wasnt blessed to enjoy,
i gather my tears and sorrows and and the end of the day watch the sun set 
because i missed the sun up.
