Sheltering My Love

Is it fair that I take and hold my love in wait? I give it to you, you store it away again and again. Put away to keep as your own, never with you but with me. I sat on many occasions burying in my many questions with how? Why? Or when? I alone felt love seeping through breaking free wanting to love as a whole rather than love in pieces or tucked between the veins hidden behind my heart as it withers away. Never in full bloom alive long enough, just once to feel the rays of the sun. And you again sheltering my love in innocence holding on to what was left. Waiting alone with love stuck some where between every hello and goodbye. And for a moment love was everything I'd imagined as a child but that was long ago. I love to love what never stays long enough to love so I may turn around and go and I still be in love with a younger version of myself much older, simple, and free.

This Love, Conflicting Pain

This has been an absolute journey and I have traveled it with and without you. There are days I have opened my eyes only to be blinded by sun light. As I walk through a darkened coveted desire I'm trying to hold on to you. Listening for the moments you gave to me, all the excitement and how quickly you take that feeling away. My innocence has left no imprint in the path that I walk, so please don't try to rescue me. My knees are bruised, my heart has turned grey, this is where my journey begins without you. What have I let this world become of me? The purity I once new. Hair brushed back in a braid down my back as I walk away my heart still yearns for you. Your love still knows how to make my heart suffer. And your plastered on my inner shell that holds me together, with tears and laughter, blinded by your love.

My Love Addiction Gone Wild

Love is an Emotion A feeling that one has built on life Love can destroy and confuse the weak Though love is kind Strong and forgiving Love can bring revenge and deceitfulness when wounded Love is like a bad addiction gone wild Love can change the way we live our lives It only knows what we teach it How we treat love is sometimes selfish Love is happy, make us laugh, make us smile Love can hurt, make us mad, make us cry Love can also be blind Love is wonderful beyond all means Love should not be taken for granted Nor shall love be used against each other to cause emotional scaring Love is not to be confused with all that is negative for then it is not love For love can make us do crazy things It is a feeling with great emotion It is what brings all feeling to the surface from its core To love is beautiful even after the hurt goes away Love calls for sacrifice when needed Bring us closer or push us away Love can also make us leave or make us stay Tear us down and build us up To live our lives and not give up Love Is My Addiction Gone Wild Love Is My Addiction Gone Wild

My Warrior

You and I were like a fairy tale to good to be true. You rode in like a warrior and carried me away. Showing me another world existed beyond the one I new. Then you fell off your horse and I laughed

I Love You More Than

"I love you more than the thought alone knows of love before the conscious mind new love existed within the same thought to love."

No One Is Home

You stand at my door knocking asking that I let you in. "And for what?" You can keep hitting your knuckles up against that hard wood, pounding your fore arms and kicking your feet, like a child screaming for not having your way. I felt the same way, you had me at your feet. I to remember tearing myself apart for you, and you just stood with your back turned without any words spoken you told me, "No One Is Home". Now that I have made it back inside, you stand alone at my door, waiting for me to let you in... Looking down at my scars that slowly heal from impacting blows you left at my feet from slamming the door. I am the one telling you "NO ONE IS HOME".

3 Strikes Your Out

I'ma cause you to implode inside that bubble you live in. Give me a needle, pop it, explode. An infraction, a piece of data stored away, "The caller you are trying to reach is unavailable". @#*% it!!!!! Tuck this conversation under your doormat, couldn't even hit it with a bat. But I'm going to pitch it to you slow & still strike you out. Without a doubt this is my game I'm taking you out. Love letters in a box expressing emotions through the mail, chasing love like a puppy chases his tail. Like Friends of Distinction singing "You Got Me Going In Circles, Spun Out Over You". And when you finally come home again everything feels so brand new. And we got to start all over again. A new game, a different field, a different us every time you take that trip on the bus, I'm left alone at the bat striking myself out. But not this time baby, I'm calling 3 STRIKES YOUR OUT

Inspire Me

To be greater than great. To understand that life is not just. To keep moving forward when life gets rough. To learn patience when I can no longer tolerate the mindless ignorance that lies in my face. Inspire Me.... Inspire Me.... Show me something greater.... anything..... A simple hand me down I wear patched at the knee and I'm okay with that. Your just to blinded to see. Now I walk this..this oh so beautiful planet like nothing bothers me. Finally after years of silence you ask What Inspires Me

A Good Night Lullaby

A mound of ashes laid to rest
Content torture at its best
A blazing fire from the sky
Oh how thee Angels and God will cry
Twist and turn the bells will ring
Listening to the choir scream
The wealthy rich and the poor
Humanity will be no more
Purple haze clouds the sky
Thee oceans water have run dry
A simple good night Lullaby
Torture oh to love the pain
Injecting salt down thru the vein
Torture oh to love the pain
Injecting salt down thru the vein
