The Eagle

Look at it soar high
Majestic… wings wide open
Fly America

The End of Life

Gasping for the air
The color lost in your face
It is time… good-bye

In the Library of Life

I am a book filled with a lot of pages
Turn me and turn me, each page is filled
There is joy and sadness
There is rage and peace

I am sentences
With each line I command
I flow in and out of every page
Causing shades of color across the canvas

I am words of power
Forming, breaking and giving life
My tongue swirls around in my mouth
Bathing in its pool of seduction
Ready to form its next adventure

The Night Will Always Come

Trees swaying at night
Dark…with stars shimmering bright
Silhouettes of you
I hear the music inside
It has stopped and you are gone

Oh, What You Do To Me

The sun touches the edge of the horizon
The sky lit by the moonlight
The stars scattered on the canvas up above
The silhouette of your face is all I see
I love you are the words whispered to me
Holding my face in his hands
His lips pressed against mine
With a slight slip of his tongue
He consumed me
His hands touch up and down the sides of my body
“You are my everything” he said
“I want to make you mine forever”
Breathless
Overwhelmed
Blissful
Dwelled inside of me
In my hands I grab his body
I pull him even closer to me
My fingers begin to roam about his masculinity
Passion flows throughout my body
It quivers at his touch
Finally the day is here

Songbird

Songbird sing to me
Your sound soothes my very soul
It’s the sound of peace
The calmness overwhelms me
Sing… sing and don’t ever stop

Family

We are intertwined like a rope that cannot be broken
Your pain my pain
Your sorrow my sorrow
Your joy my joy
Your fight my fight
We are intertwined like a rope that cannot be broken
Your tears I catch and redeem
Your smiles I celebrate
Your problems we solve
Your blood flows through me
We are part of the same beginning
When our beginning ceases to exist we will still remain
For we are…
Like a rope that cannot and will never be broken

Masquerade of Lies

Welcome to the Masquerade Ball
Your mask is a cover for all your lies
I told you that to this dance you were not welcome
No extension of invitations did you receive
I will unmask you and you will stand in the center for all to see
Your words are meaningless
You will lie down in the pile of lies you have created
Let us dance so I can be close to you
Grab your mask and embed my fingers in order to deface you
I will drive a stake through your heart
It is cold and has no life in it
I will eat it for I hunger for vengeance
Your cold and lifeless body left in the center of the room
Ballads and a waltz danced in your name
Twirls around you as you lay in your bed
Beheaded and placed on a plate
Posted on the mantle as a trophy
We will feast on your remains
A celebration for all to enjoy
 Lies you wish to tell
A consequence you will pay
Welcome to the Masquerade Ball

No Umbrella Today

Green is the colors all around The sun covered underneath all the clouds Where did you go today? Thunder shaking the skies with a certainty The rain will come down Ground wet from the cold drops coming from above The winds fierce, blowing as if it were kept mute finally being able to be heard What a beautiful creation A picture, a portrait, a canvas Painted with excellence by its artist Each detail accentuated The trees swerve back and forth not falling of course Foundations made strong Rain comes down harder Washing away yesterdays harshness Refreshing the earth Renewing the land Time for new growth to appear My happiest days are the rainy days

The Lie

You say you need to find yourself but can’t you find yourself with me. Am I not a part of you? You said I was yours. You said you were mine. What has you in this state of confusion? What has driven you so far away from me? My heart is lonely and cannot fathom the idea of being without you. As always I stand here with my heart drowning in its own pool of blood. My lungs filled with your lies and breathing is almost incapable to do. I am walking in this place called solitude and torment has become my friend. You have thrown it all away. I was whole when I was with you and now pieces of me have been scattered in this vast world called insecurity. The pieces I cannot put back together. You have broken me without looking back to see what has become of me. My eyes are flooded with the tears that have made me blind. I cannot see where I am going. I run around in circles caught up in a whirlwind of a deception of lies. Lies you vowed not to speak. Did you not love me like you said you loved me? Who has caught your heart? Your body, heart and soul belong to me. You looked into my eyes and promised an eternity with me. I guess even eternity has an end and that end is now.
