Jennen Becke Poem
Shall I compare thee to a winter’s breeze?
Thou art more chilling and more cruel
Rough winds push you away with ease
with winter’s lease reveals a fool.
Sometimes so cold that hell would freeze.
Your rosy glow would dim
And every leaf from spring you tease
Then nature turns so grim
Eternal blizzards shall not fade
But fair possessions will
There’ll be no love within your shade,
your cold shall make you ill
So long as men can see your eyes,
They will see through your lies.

Jennen Becke Poem
In the beginning, sometimes I left messages in the street
Sweet words I wrote, for your eyes only
Our childish love was pure and innocent
But thoughts of love have become lonely
As we grew your heart drifted
Away from thoughts of me alone
My messages on the street escaped your memories
You never returned to my arms, your home
I became a memory
You were my everything, you were my start
But my words are simply wasted hopes
In the end you ripped my paper heart
