My Sentence Is Death

I am on the street and thrown away,
I have no place to go, where will I stay.
You don’t care if I live or die,
You dropped me off without a tear in your eye.
I am just a baby and friendly as can be,
What a rotten thing you did to me.
You dump me off on the side of the road,
To a little guy that is a very heavy load.
What is the problem, what was so bad?
To throw me away and make me sad.
Don’t you love me? Don’t you care?
You didn’t look back with even a stare.
Show you care and have a heart,
Take care of us little guys and do your part.
Now I am in a shelter, my sentence is death,
Just remember me when I take my last little breath.
Now my sentence is DEATH!

Our Final Goodbye's

Today is the day we say our final good-byes,
With sadness in our hearts and tears in our eyes.
You will be thought of each day with love,
Knowing your in Heaven with our Lord above.
The pain is gone and peace abounds,
Now your hearing those trumpet sounds.
You are now beside the Lord you served,
Wearing the gold, you so well deserved.
You loved your family and served your Lord,
Now the Angel’s are singing with a special cord.
You set the path for each of your children with prayer,
You taught them to Love and always care.
Maybe sometimes they did and sometimes not,
But you never gave up, just loved them a lot.
I love what you stood for, and the Love you shared,
A day never went by when you didn't show you cared.
You have always carried the Cross-in your heart,
And knew from your Lord you would never part.
And now we know as the Angels sing,
A special Angel has earned her wings.

A Child All Alone

I found myself all alone with fears,
My eyes seemed to always be filled with tears.
I want someone to love me and show me they care,
Instead, my life is filled with despair.
My clothes are dirty and I need something to eat,
Maybe even some shoes for my small little feet.
I need a family with a mom and dad,
Then I would be happy and never sad.
I know life is not suppose to be this way,
I pray for a new family everyday.
Maybe some day my dream will come true,
And I will be smiling again and not so blue.
Will you adopt me and take me in,
If you do, I promise your heart I will win.
I will do my chores and obey what you say,
If you take me in and let me stay.
All I need is a hug from you,
A family I can call my own and a pet or two.
I am not asking for much at all,
Just think about adopting and make that call.

The Love of a Puppy

The fate of that puppy was unknown,
Just a little love was all she need shown.
I walked through the shelter that day,
Not really knowing what I would see or say.
Every little puppy had his or her very own story,
But there they sat and stared up at you in all their glory.
I could hear the little whimpering and cries,
So when I looked at each one, it brought tears to my eyes.
If only I could save just one or two,
Here they all sat, now the question was who?
My oh my what a big decision that day,
On who was going home and who was to stay?
Suddenly, I stopped with a glee in my eye,
Oh how beautiful she was, “She’s got to be mine,” I said with a sigh.
The day I brought her home to stay,
She put more happiness in my heart than words can say.
Here sat this eight-week-old puppy, we named Sasha Lynn,
Not until later did we know how just how many hearts she would win.
She is a tough little gal, with a bushy little tail and sweet little face,
If given a chance, she would show how grateful with a lick on the chin and a
sweet embrace.
The love of this puppy has saved my life,
And showed me what a puppy’s love is, even in strife.
There is nothing like a puppies love and devotion,
So next time your near a shelter, take a notion, make a motion,
And Adopt The Love Of a Puppy!

You Don'T Need Me

I am What You Think You Need; I love to turn your life to greed.
The need for me grows with each passing day,
I am evil and on the weak, I will prey.
I make you feel so good at times,
But I cause you to commit some serious crimes.
I am so appealing in so many ways,
But leave your life in one big haze.
I become your God and I am all you need,
When I am not around you will begin to plead.
I destroy lives and I also kill,
Only because you needed a thrill.
Well now here is the truth and I hope you hear,
I will ruin your life and everyone that is dear.
I mess with your life and your brain,
I make you think you are going insane.
I make you feel you are all alone,
I cause you to chase away everyone, you have known.
You own nothing because I took it away,
I am so important you become my prey.
I cause you to do things that are really bad,
Instead of being happy, you are always sad.
Is this really the way you want your life to be,
Then if I am offered to you just turn and flee.
Drugs control your body and mind,
So leave that life way behind.
Pray that God gives you the strength you need,
And from the drug life you will be freed.

Pray Each Day

Pray each day with Love in your heart,
Pray God gives your life a fresh new start.
Pray God gives you the strength you need,
Pray God’s word will always succeed.
Pray for others and the path they take,
God sent his Son to die for our sake.
Read your Bible from beginning to end,
I guarantee your broken heart will mend.
Pray for God to carry you when you fall,
And he will answer the smallest call.
For he is just a prayer away,
And when you need him pray Each Day!

God's Gift

God’s most precious gift was the gift of life,
He gave us freedom from all the strife.
He gives us love with all his heart,
In hopes from him we would never part.
God’s gift is the grass and trees,
God’s gift is everywhere you see.
His gift is the family you have to love,
His gift was the promise he made with the morning dove.
God’s gift is free to all,
If just on his name you will call.
God’s gift is in your friends you meet,
He says to love all and just be sweet.
God’s most precious gift to all to us,
Was his most precious son “Jesus!”
Honor him in all you do and say,
Pray to him and thank him for each passing day.
