I Am Awake

Leave me alone, Never again will you put your hands on me. I will never forgive you for what you have done to me. My eyes were to swollen to see the love that was absent. I refused to let you go but now i refuse to stay but i wont leave without revealing your crazy ways. You never took the time to care about me or maybe you showed that through your harsh words and bruises on my heart when stomped on my feelings You neglected me and poisioned my mind. I thought i was in a world where i could never return, a world you created to torture me like the victim i was. You wrapped your cold hands around my neck and choked me into silence. You are a nightmare that i began to stop tryin to wake up from. I made my life about you and you could never respect that, i was never enough for you, but you couldn't seem to let me go because your hands were wrapped around my hair as you pulled me back under your control. I guess you liked the power, the control but i can no longer handle it, my memories will be filled of the hate i felt for you and your memories i could care less for. I will never be your friend only a shadow in the back of your mind that you always try and catch but this time im out of your reach. You will strike your hand back as i move forward.  Dont you ever try and look back at me because you will see my eyes looking past you but never at you. Forgiveness is something you will never recieve not an ounce of sorrow will i feel because i have gotten away and escaped a horrible fate but now its your turn to feel the hurt as i grab your hands and burn them with my happiness. I have said goodbye for i have awaken from this nightmare.
