The Butterfly

The butterfly...
It was the most beautiful thing ive ever seen..
It had wings that were stronger than a bull...
It had such vibrant colors...
The reds and blues and oranges.....
I felt as if I had my own special rainbow....
It fluttered in my hand
Walking on my hand like a feather..
I found a new friend.....
I put it in a jar
And one day I saw it and it looked sad...
The butterfly missed its wonderful world...
I was sad I let it go
And it fluttered on my cheek as if it gave me a huge kiss
Bye little friend......

Fly Away

Fly away little bird...
Fly.....
I know you can try if you believe...
I wish I could fly away from my troubles...
If I could id be the happiest girl in the world...
You must be happy being able to fly who knows where...
Outside of this town...
In the fluffy pillows in the sky..
Bird why don't you fly now?
.......fly that's right fly
Bye little birdie...
Fly into those fluffy pillows in the sky.....

Life

Life....
Everyone sees it differently
Some people take it for granted as if they deserve it
To me life is like a plant..
In one part of our life we bloom, looking so beautiful
But then some petals start to fall....
We start to fall...
Life is as precious as gold...
It holds the key to opportunity and joy
Life is like a candle....
There's a matter of time before the candle melts and the flames die down...
Each day is full of learning and comprehending
What we want and what we need...
LIFE IS...what we make of it....
LIFE...

The Pain of a Young Widow

The pain of a young widow....
Her husband has just died and she can still smell his cologne
She can still remember the last words his beautiful lips spoke
"I love you.."
She cries and cries
Shes upset with herself...
Shes upset with God..
And shes upset with everyone who has happiness...
Shes upset with her friends geting over his death so quickly
She thinks"why'd he have to leave me"...
She stays home and looks at the window hoping that it was all a dream
That her new husband would come home with flowers and joy.....
As she sits she neglects everything.....
Her health......
She neglects her baby...
Her baby gets taken away..
She justs waves through the windows at the trees imagining and hoping....
She sits and waits...until shes tired of waiting...
She goes back to life thinking that she still has everything,....
The widow lost everything she wasn't young anymore.....
The pain of what used to be a young widow...

Thirst

Thirst

Taking chances with life
Having hatred in your heart
Intimate relationships that'll hurt you
Really focusing on decieving others
Staying away from the right paths
Trying to hurt yourself

Thirst isn't good for anyone...
Thirst comes with bad consequences
Thirst can direct your life into the hands of your enemies........

The Tornado

The tornado.....
I remember it like it was yesterday.....
My family and I didn't believe it......
I could smell it..
It smelled of hatred and strength..
I saw it with my own eyes..
Its form whipping at the trees...
And picking up rocks as if it was nothing then a bug...
All the land was gone...
It was as if it called me.....
I walked out, the wind pulling my dress....
I saw it clearly now it was so fascinating...
I saw the sky turn from a baby blue to a harsh gray......
I wasn't afraid of the tornado but amused...
That tornado....
That strange tornado...
Spoke to me.......
The way it spun made me dizzy..ha!
It amazed me....
That day....that tornado
