Self

Look at you! You are going places
You got that impulse of control in your eyes
You have a hunger that requires constant feeding
From a passion burning deep within your radical stimulus
You devour all the barriers that stand in your way
Rise above all the neutralizing slander of surrounding people
To be so chargeless and undisturbed by them
Your soul demands difference!
To sour with the eagles is your point of covergence
To dauntlessly grasp ahold of your dreams and take them into your possession
I stand envious of you Self, of your fire, of your heart
I admire your light from afar that illuminates my sky
Your growth is beautiful, like the blossom of a flower,
Brought forth from the rain and brilliance of the sun
To feel such compassion, such power, such indulgence
Would be next to heaven for one like myself
So carry on Self, carry on

Your First Step

Why so lost Dear Friend Lost in search of Loss in your eyes Can’t see with the veil you wear Look at the hindrance you’ve placed on your path Shuffling over your own feet Disengage yourself for the moment Look in at this thing you call life once again Without a turned eye or such prejudice It’s time to restructure the plan Expose who lies beneath the layers No need to rob yourself any longer Foolish to seek so high? Foolish to come so far? Foolish instead to believe a crooked lie Question it all, I say Ask for reasoning, no doubt Who sat the predictable standards anyway Continue to discover you Bring about your own path Knowing time is of no friend to us all Be passionate and unwavering Busy and never stagnant You are worth it ALL You need only to take the first step….. I Am Lost In You

I just want to go where the rain hits my face,
where the wind blows so cold my cheeks turn frosted pink,
where the sun is hidden behind the white blanketed sky
and snowflakes kiss me

Maybe I should run
Run far away from this mess I’ve made here
Run to the nonjudging open mountain hills
And breath the free air from our blessed life giving trees up there

I just want to be free
Free from this fleshly prison
Free from the constant mental bondage and suffering
And life’s infamous heartbreaks

I don’t want to be here.
I don’t want to believe here
Nor will I ever become who you want me to be here

I want released from the woes of this world.
I want to run naked into the ocean
And be as careless, and in love as we were designed to be

Tho why can’t I find you here
