Righteousness- An Irony For the Few

Righteous World!!!
Indeed!!

The Righteous, who are proud as they know it!
Are the foulest of them all!

"The Few" seeks refuge under the veil of transgression.
The Righteous or 'The Rightful' as they call themselves bolts in from nowhere.

'The Rightful' are too proud,
They speak too loud,
For the achievements which 'they' think has made them proud.

"The Few" fall under their domain.

The Righteous in the course of time forget to teach what is necessary,
As forgetting is a hideous mistake.

And forgetting in the nick of time is more than a mistake.

Since, to err is to human,
But to err again is not rightful.

So, "The Few" eventually rides the wave of rebellion.
But, The Righteous appearing again,
Chides "The Few" of doing anything righteous.
Since, righteous according to them is not righteous as they think to be.

Chiding regularly according to them is the most righteous thing.

But they forget, that mistakes once heaped into a pile turns into filth.

But "The Few" knows what it is to be righteous.

As, obligation comes into play in shaping the so called Righteous people.

"The Few" gets crushed in order to become people of honour under the righteouses.

For, it is according to these righteouses, "The Few" become the downtroddens.

And it is for this very reason,
In this very season,
"The Few" becomes the rebellions.

Fingers - the Way They Are

Have you ever thought other than cutting nails and applying cosmetics on them?
Well it is these fingers in your hands.

Fingers pokes and points and enter the realms of your mind.
They shows us the way
And gear up for a punch to keep trespassers at bay.

They indeed stand tall,
Like a brave soldier who vowed never to fall.
But if pointed at someone, others deal it with a negative eye.
But as the Mahatma says,” An eye for an eye makes the world blind”,
This is what everyone fails to decipher that after all it is these fingers that helps us in the ties that makes us bind.
The precursor to every happening is sighted by them at first and then the rest.

They point at the sky promising a beloved to bring her stars and moons,
They bring hope when kept on other’s finger.
They begin a new beginning when they are clasped together with their counterpart.
They tie; they break, building a new array of high hopes with no chokes.
But they don’t ask for anything more,
It is only you who needs to feel the worth of their existence,

Dreams are real though,
These fingers are real, since, they are as we see them to be.

Beloved

My biggest metaphor being monsoon, reminds me of you.
It was a rainy day when nature was abuzz with freshness and vigour,
And you spoke your heart out like never before.
Ah! What a sensation it was!
You had instantly drenched my soul with love.

It is you for whom I share, dare and also care,
And it’s true that I don’t caress you by your hair.

But what is this unrest in you?
Is this a whisper of yours that keeps me guessing all day long?
Oh! Beloved, "this is the moment of Ecstasy",
Don’t let it go,
Just go with the flow.
And who says love is short-lived?
I’ll be there to make your ride worthwhile.
Since it's worth the journey.
As they say it's the road and not the end.

So let's wake up to a new dream.
Where you and I would follow the same stream.
The stream of ecstatic Love, where we can lead our lives with sanity,
Surrounded by abundance of passion, happiness and serenity.

Expectation

I am what I am,
I am not what you think I am.
But many say that I’m different from what they expected.
It is these expectations that make people think.
People say,”Your mind is filled with germs”, I say “I live on my terms”.
These expectations gives rise to the great depression which stops the freedom of expression.

To expect is fair enough, expecting more is to dare enough where eagles not even dare.
The very thought strikes me when people roars like lions of the concrete jungles,
To vanquish me they are ready with their pointed words which does hit me, but leaves me soon.
Since if you don’t pay heed to these, they won’t even think of striking you.

I say it is greed, creed and need which makes one expect,
As a result one forgets to show their loved ones the much needed respect.

This is the world of expectations,
Where expecting a expectation to occur according to one’s expectations,
Is like expecting a unique expectation which when triggered gives rise to an expectation which one hasn’t expected.
