If Only You Knew

If only you knew
What happens behind closed doors
What happens in the dark
What happens in the absense of men
If you only you knew
What the heart reads
What the mind shows
What the tongues whispers
If only you knew...before you would judge~Rome

Tomorrow Never Came

The careless today
Will care tomorrow
The ignorant today
Will know tomorrow
The heartless today
Will love tomorrow
The dead today
Will live tomorrow
The new today
Will be history tomorrow
Who cares for the careless?
Who loves for the heartless?
Can you see tomorrow?
Can you live yesterday?
The words of truth
Is more valuable than any diamond
Death is better than silence
For the silent is dead
The aggressive kill
and the passive are dying
But will you change tomorrow?
Will you care tomorrow?
Will you know tomorrow?
Will you love tomorrow?
What if tomorrow never came...

                    ...will you change today?-Rome

Colors

Do the flowers pick their colors?
Do the birds pick their feathers?
Do our children pick their names?
Do we pick our ending?
Yet, we pick our insults
Yet, we pick who to hurt
We find faults
But, can never correct
We brake and shatter
Yet, can never never fix
How can the criminals judge?
Can the deaf tease the blind?
Can the blind tease the mute?
Each bird's feathers is different
Yet they fly together
Each ant is different
Yet they work together
Yet us humans cant come together
Over color
Over nation
Over gender
And in the end
The sun shines on us all the same
The rain falls on us all the same
The same god watches over us all the same
All colors makes one
And nothing can divide one.- Rome
