Wings of Your Love

When I see your face
Bright as a star in dark skies
Your eyes radiant and clear as crystal
Tears of love drench my cheeks-
On your shoulders forever I’ll lull
Under the comfort of your warm wings of love

When I see greens of the fields
Celebrating every kiss of the winds;
The cold breeze at the shores of falling rivers
I see the shape of your heart-
A heart print that forever will stay
Whispering at every height of the melting mount

When you whisper my name
At the cold of a warm dawn
My heart bleeds for the unending bliss;
I weep when your shadow sublimes-
Leaving only an idol to cling on!
Let me nurture your heart, my love to defend.

Thanks Mum

Mother If I could give you diamonds For each tear you cried for me If I could give you sapphires For each truth you’ve helped me see If I could give you rubies For the heartache that you’ve known If I could give you pearls For the wisdom that you’ve shown Then you’ll have a treasure, mother, That would mount up to the skies That would almost match The sparkle in your kind and loving eyes But I am sure you’re well aware My devotion, love and care Are always with you Thank you mum

The Wide World Web

We were hanging on the thin web strands,

Feet to the north dancing to nature's tunes,

Right hand swinging from East to West,

Left hand supporting us but changing in turns.

You swung feet, and they were linked with another's;

You moved hands and the fingers were intertwined with another's;

You peeped across the horizontal, and the glance was locked with another's-

Then the web, weak as van der waal bonds,

Developed to a bond stronger than diamonds.

The dance became unnecessary,

The swinging became tiring,

For the only thing that mattered was:

The eyes opposite your glare-that could help u see when yours closed in sleep;

The feet underneath-that could walk the farthest journey when yours felt feeble;

The hands holding yours-that could touch where yours couldn't reach.

You seemed strong, even when you felt feeble.

Because of the wide world web.

His Place

As I walked down the aisle
An abyss of confusion built in me
A sense of emptiness overcome my heart
And a desperate feeling ran through my mind
But who could bring together
The fragments of my heart?

I sat on the front bench
Looking at the great man
Leaning on a piece of wood
Stretching out His hands without tire
And I wondered why
He chose such a desperate position
In such a spacey room.

Suddenly I took a book next to me
And ran through Mark
But my heart beat faster
A sweat drop ran down my temple
And a tear dropped down my cheek
For I understood that He was there
To take the load off my neck
And guilt off my heart
Because I was desperate.

I looked at the nailed man again
And felt like a walking corpse
Awaiting its second death
And when I looked behind
I saw a man in white
Eagerly waiting for my next step.

Before I could leave
I took one final glance at the man
And bent low in His honor
For I had known why
He had neglected the luxurious benches
To live in such a lowly site;
I felt better than before
For this is how He wanted
His place to be.

Your Warm Embrace

I can hug the pillow for you; Hold the teddy bear for you; Kiss the phone goodnight for you- But only you can give me the warmth of your loving embrace.
