Rachel Price Poem
We're running late, and we have to leave.
"Come on" my mother yells as she's stressing more than I.
While in a rush I hit my shin and feel I need to greave.
I see my dog wag her tail as I shout "Goodbye."
We're getting close almost there.
And that's when I hear it as if it's shouting in my ear.
And then i realize it's bombs as i think "Why there?"
Then it hits me like a rock and i get a sudden fear.
Grandma, Grandpa, even cousin Ash,
are all gone and are never coming back.

Rachel Price Poem
My sweet young child so small and mild,
For born is Bethlehem,
Under the star in the barn.
Your heart so small and wild,
Unknown to later be exiled.
For all is loving him,
Under the star in the barn.

Rachel Price Poem
When you think somebody loves you,
You know it's true.
When all that special someone wants to do,
Is spend all day with you.
Through thick and thin,
Or fat and thin as a pin.
They'll be there through it all,
Helping you not to fall.

Rachel Price Poem
Never a fear when your mother is near,
She'll give you the hope,
And there will never be a tear.
You'll never need to mope,
And that one terrifying fear.
You'll always have the hope,
Because your mother is near.

Rachel Price Poem
As I sit here,
I can hear voices in the wind.
And i feel as though you are near.
And even though you left me here to defend,
I know you'd still be here
If it were'nt for him.

Rachel Price Poem
As your skin burns to ash before my tearfilled eyes,
I feel like a part of me is being torn away.
And I wish I could help and end all of your pained cries,
So all the hurt would be out of play.
Thinking of all the bitter and hurtful lies,
Makes me want to just escape with you, and just get away.
But I can't have it that easy.
I tried desperately to understand and make it go away,
But our flicker of hope wasn't as strong as the fire of lies.

Rachel Price Poem
If you think you have the bestfriend,
Mine's surely got you beat.
Even stand up for me and proudly he'd defend,
You still think your's is better, well can you take the heat?
He laughs at the jokes I make,
Even when they're not that funny.
He excepts the gifts I make,
And says i'm really funny.
I love to hear him sing,
And love to see him laugh.
And when I see him I get and sudden ping,
Of joy surging down my back.
You think you have the bestfriend,
Well I think I made my point.
That mine is surely better,
And your's just has no point.

Rachel Price Poem
Faith is being sure,
Of what you're yet to be.
Jesus is the cure,
He'll help you when you're weak.
Although you are unsure,
Of what you're yet to be.
Faith is being sure.

Rachel Price Poem
I'm stuck in this maze of life,
Where sometimes there's fire,
And sometimes there's ice.
And when you decide the end of my maze, Lord.
I'll gaze up those steps,
As I realize I'm leaving this world.
And all my pain and fear will be gone,
So I go up the steps,
And start my new life.
With Jesus by my side.

Rachel Price Poem
My favorite time of day,
Is the morning when it's bright.
And its as it God is looking down to say,
Hello to morning, and goodbye to night.
