The Pen In My Hand

Looking at myself through stained glass
trying to piece the memories of the past,
good ones bad ones seem to fade over the years.
The line becomes grey and slowly turns to tears.
Paralyzed with emotion afraid to be exposed
always standing behind the crowd with the door closed

I ask myself why must it be this way?
How much of a price do I have to pay?
To step into the spotlight would be my greatest thrill
but inside i feel without the talent to fill the bill.

l
I write these words with no forethought or plan
just trying to make myself understand.
I now realize the first part of my future is THE PEN IN MY HAND!

Mysteries of the World

MYSTERIES OF THE WORLD WILL THEY EVER BE SOLVED,AS WE AS A PEOPLE CONTINUE
TO EVOLVE. UNCOVERING THIS FINDING THAT, ALWAYS TRYING TO FIGURE WHATS
UNDER THE HAT CURIOUS PEOPLE YOU AND ME CAN,T EVER SEEM TO LET THINGS
BE.NEVER GIVEN TIME TO DEVELOP FULLY,RUSH TO JUDGEMENT NO MATTER HOW
UNRULY .TO WHERE THINGS GET SO CHAOTIC,DON,T LOOK INTO THE WHIRLPOOL IT IS
HYPNOTIC. TURN YOUR HEADS TO THE SKY THAT IS WHERE THE ANSWER LIES

The Message

I listened to old messages on my phone
of people calling while I was listening or was not home
One call was from my mom saying 'where you at thought you were coming down
where did u go.She sounded so happy and wondered why I did not show.I had no
good reason I just did not want to go.I feel so bad fore in the next messages the pain
started to show. I would go see her she would not smile or cry, come to find out later
her extreme pain was the reason why.i took her to the doctor to disclose how she felt
not expecting the knockout blow we would be dealt.Sent to a hospice that very day
within a week my mother would pass away. I guess what I am trying to say is I really
wish I would have went that day.

Remembering When

WATCHING MY BOYS BECOME MEN WHAT A JOY TO BEHOLD .ALWAYS FIGHTING AND
YELLING TRUTH BE TOLD. NOW AS ADOLESCENTS FADES AND MANHOOD BEGINS IT IS
WONDERFUL TO SEE THAT THEY HAVE BECOME FRIENDS. I TOLD THEM AS KIDS THAT
THIS IS HOW IT WOULD BE, THEY BOTH LAUGHED AND SAID"NOT ME". SO DIFFERENT
ARE MY BOYS SEEMS STRANGE THEY'VE SHARED THE SAME JOYS AND SAME PAIN.
DIFFERENT AS THEY MAYBE AND I DON'T KNOW HOW IT ALL ENDS AS LONG AS THEY
REMAIN FRIENDS

My Mask

My wife my life,my life my wife I remember saying sometimes in strife.I look above knowing I've lost my true love, gave way to sin and greed for those were the things that I did feed.Nearly lost my life being a fool, reflecting back I was so cruel to my wife and kids I'd become one of his tools, lying cheating became such a disgrace I could"nt even look at my face. How did this happen I ask myself as I take my mask off the shelf and face the world with a smile while I'm lonesome all the while.Oblivious to my pain is everyone I know as i continue to put on a show

Two Rr's

My father was a gambling man when the odd chance he did win before they could pay
they needed his social security number and his name he'd give them a random number
and say his name was Joe Petzavoka they would reply "CAN YOU SPELL THAT" he would
say"YEAH WITH TWO R'S"
