Fisherman's Belief

Amidst the thunders and in the rain shower,

Still the feeling to go and be ahead the lightened tower,

Why Oh fisherman, do you wish to trade this water,

For you know today the weather doesn’t look any safer,

But he said, in my heart all I can remember,

Is the joy it would bring if I can fetch fish for my kid’s dinner.

This place is no new to me,

Every day my life cycles around the same, you see,

I hold the belief that no matter what, I will find

As to this place I am affined,

So I say don’t fear, O dear,

As I see there is neither harm nor any barrier,

It is just a race to prove my self,

Else my confidence would then become small like an elf,

So don’t stop me and show me fear,

For I know when I return I would hear you cheer,

It would then bring a freedom in all our minds,

For I believe in the aim and not let the obstacles make me blind!

Crafting a Monumental Structure

Apprehensions in thoughts may form a labyrinth,
and like a cipher open up to become a plinth
but still the belief beholds to achieve what is imagined,
Though in a fog,the wanderer still feels attuned,
Let it be light or the approaching darkness,
but it isn't a mirage showing its absentness...
The people who waded along aren't lost,
As they too were finding a purpose, when their paths had just crossed
So continue the walk to paint the complete picture,
As like the dreams, the clay of life would build a monumental structure.

A Mother She Is

A feather, she is, delicate but marks one’s essence,
Makes the bird fly above, in its adolescence,
Falls when fluttered, when age it earns,
The old featherless bird, only then, its importance it learns!!
A root, she is, bearing the entire plant,
Nurtures and nourishes from seed as a confidante
Grounded she remains, hidden, masked of light
Seeking happiness, in the blossoming flower’s pride!!
A baby, finds her, its needs and wants,
Grows holding and leaning, in her arms,
The man he then grows, now stands tall -
Strengthening her fragile form, avoiding her fall!!
A mother, she is, who gives her whole self,
Living in the shadows for her shining kin’s help!!
