Dana Abraham Poem
Too much passion
And too many passions,
This is what my tired body says
To my mind,
But what do I do, there’s no doubt -
I know I burn myself out,
Though in the process I shine,
Hoping, maybe someone will see
Time,
And time again
Reminds me there’s no competing
With death,
Maybe,
My beating heart would stop,
When I find love and love finds me

Dana Abraham Poem
I may not be beautiful,
But I have my beauty –
If you can see.
I may not be the brightest,
But I have my wisdom –
This you should, see
I can love unconditionally,
I can be compassionate,
I am good at heart.
But still, if none of this is in your sight,
Then you’re not the one for me

Dana Abraham Poem
Infinity hangs high above me,
And satellites too -
Like the sky of frozen stars
At the end of this long summer
It’ll take me infinity to reach you,
Infinity to stop wanting,
And I just can’t

Dana Abraham Poem
I want to love you before we wither away,
Before we’re old and our hair turns grey.
When the beauty within,
Has the passion of the beauty on out -
Still a spark of youth,
Of zest and vigor -
Our essence come to life
I know near the end what matters is only
Between us and our God
The closer we get,
It’s only his love that we’ve got
Body fails, and for it to not pain us,
Spirit needs to climb
But now you’re so handsome,
I want to love you -
Before we’re content,
Content to leave this love behind

Dana Abraham Poem
Tonight,
Wind pushed out the stars -
Some rain clouds set them free
Above dark trees
Gone with leaves
Lightening and thunder
Rolled away
