Fly high my brother carry on
until you reach that Golden Thorne.
On bended knee do bow thy head
and seek the one of Broken Bread.
Dont look back now soul fly high

Our World

Dear God please help me understand why people are so cruel.
Why everyone inside this world can't follow just one rule?
To treat each other with respect and tender love and care,
and hope that one day they receive the love in which we share.

Dear God please help me understand why color plays a part,
why teach our children hate and fear and tear their lives apart.
Dear God please help me understand the tounge and land of some
what give them right to think their lands the only blessed one.

Dear God why must our babies die please help me understand
this gift of love and joy you give we kill with our on hands.
Deasr God please help me understand why brother turns on brother,
and why the love that they once shared is now a hate for others.

Deasr God please help me understand this world in which we live.
Why some would put a price on life and worship dollar bills.

Dear God now in this world we built we must now teach our sons
to have a love for all mankind so they will teach their own.
Our daughters now we need to teach, stand strong and beleive
she is equal to mankind and with your love she will survive.

Dear God please bless this world we built and one day leave our young;
That they our strong and will survive our world that's gone so wrong.

The Family Unit

One more day in the house
Cleaning up memories that took a
family a lifetime to gather.
Passing on one by one they all left treasures.
Or better known to some as
"One mans trash another mans treasure"

How do I decide what to keep?
How dose one decide whats important?
Leafing through someones memories as if
your touching each heart in one way or another.
Will I throw away something by mistake.
Or will I keep something thats nothing.

The kids are tired now. Taking on the family past
that also includes their fathers death.
How will they get the courage they need?
Who will help them till the end?
They are so young in years yet so
wise in wisdom.

Sorting through things that was once their
fathers grandparents and uncles.
Can they stay strong? Will they pick out things
that mean something to them but nothing to others?
Or will they chose to take nothing and let
the past die quitely?

We miss them so. This family that was once ours.
Inside all of us we keep memories that will
stay in our hearts forever.

As the years follow our lives will change..
Memories will fade and life as we once knew
will grow fewer in though. But we will never forget

The family now will gather in death as they did in life.
As I grow older I play back the memories that somehow
seem to bring the past back to life, if only in moments.

As the family passed on before us so will we all,
and one day we will return to our yesterday and our
Family Unit" will be as one,

While another family will change...

Teardrop

Depression
endless hope
unturned love
fear of nothing

darken days
light of night

no tomorrow
bitter ending
forever silence
Depression

Freaks of Nature

Freaks of nature we are few
who once were one and now are two.
God took his hand to part the seed
for on the earth he saw a need
for two souls birth and not just one,
until all work on earth was done.
Freaks of nature we are few
who once were one and then were two.

Two souls did birth and took each life
to live with love as did their Christ.
And down life's path they each would turn,
out on their own so they would learn.
About man's faith and troubled ways
and teach of love and God's true grace.
Called freaks of nature they were few
who once were one but lived as two.

Their families grew and moved through life
and ventured out beyond their sight.
Soon knowing their job here was done
and standing with The Shinning Son.
As each did enter each would leave,
as God so whispers up each breeze .
They entered life by God's own hand
and will return to promised land.

As life did start and then was two
God saw now what he was to do,
Return the broken seed to one
and make it whole since life was done.
Once Freaks of nature who were few,
returns to one, but lived as two.

A Little Prayer

As time stands still in every way
I ask you lord to somehow stay
inside her world and keep her safe,
until the day that she awakes,

                          and

Knows your love in everyway so
just for now my lord I pray,
        Please keep her safe from
                    day to day.

                         Amen

Timeless

These concrete wall are now shades of grey.
These tall steel bars are now rusting away.
This has been my home

Slow days move on by and the night owl will sing
I'll keep my eyes closed and hope for a dream
of yesterday's world.

There is no tomorrow I live only now
Repeats for the future as the night moves on down.
And the night owl will cry.

With hair turning grey and bars on each side,
these strong concrete wall that keep me inside,
will now sit me free.

My yesterdays gone, and tomorrow is now
I'll start my walk home as the dark falls on down.
And the night owl stands still.........

One Eye Open

She lay sleeping with hidden sorrow.
I lay at rest one eye opened.
My mind races for answers not yet asked.

This hurt is so deep. Hers or mine?
Life seems so sad for the young or old?

Would she end all so soon?
This love is not deep.
Selfish, coward, loser.

So young to leave and rest.
Leave me with one eye opened.

Life is not fair to some so young.
To take a life at ones on hand
is to leave a soul uneasy.
And sleeps with one eye opened.

Rest now beside to one who's
love was not deep. Easy escape.
No tears, no sorrow, no pain.

Suns up now and yet another
morn is the dawn.
As I arise time stands still,
to wipe a tear from the eye of sleep
For I now sleep with one eye opened.

Lessons

lesson to be learned
in GOD'S on caring way
is take a task that we endure
and show us day to day.
His love is here to stay.

Thing's were gone I worked so hard
there's nothing left to see.
They took the past and preasent
but cant take my memories.
A gift GOD gave to me.

Day's go by and turn to years
I think back at my time.
The lessons learned in loving ways
sometimes i was so blind.
He's been here all the time.

Not long to go and far to learn
I yearn for all to be,
A teacher of life lessons,
when tested they will see,
A gift of memories.

The Shadow

She stands alone and she cries the tear
that nobody knows and nobody hears.

Beginning each day with hope for the night.
No emotion is present only existence and fright.

Where pain begin's as the morn arrives.
Only to leave when all hope has died.

Where all seems lost there's no dream or Care.
The light of day and the night somehow share.

Intake now the Shadow givin life now to end.
Accepting the silence, as depression begins
