Keep Fighting Kid

When you have a paramount dream constantly unraveling before your consistently
welling blue eyes; when your rest is ever halted by the never ending murmurs of
abhorrent foes drowning your memories in a sea of won’ts; when you are able to
obtain every hollow shell of life’s bitter-sweet sustenance rather than your heart’s
true nourishment; when one moment filled with ten seconds of nightmare darkens
all 86,400 seconds a day of light; when your climb to the summit is exponentially
becoming steeper as your mind, body, and soul tremble beneath your infinitely
encumbering past shame; when you risk your future on a game of pitch and toss
and lose only to pick yourself back up and start again at your beginnings; when
everyone becomes a mental trauma instead of a lending shoulder; when you feel
destitute to be alone yet you keep pushing forward as if the whole world is in your
corner; when you are consistently beaten down time and time again; then and only
then may you see the potential GOD has bestowed upon you and proceed to
conquer the challenge of living up to it.

The Human Inchworm

One inch forward two back
Creeping toward a ludicrous goal
Relinquishing disappointment
Seeking internal satisfaction

Psychotic persistence,
Emotional self-government,
Invulnerable will,
Summate its inevitable success
Bent on destruction
Of opposition
Nothing remains in its way
Corrupt hunger for perfection
Double-edged sword it hunts
All lost, nothing gained
Predetermined history
On course for an early end
Egotistical
Self-serving
None could’ve foreseen
Seclusion from society
Inured to anguish
Epitome of sorrow
Unfurnished with tear ducts
Just sweat and blood

Its release is its affliction
Its passion is its destruction
Its serenity is its inferno
Its infection is its only hope

Mirror

Fresh glass appears with the birth of soul,
Overtime new days equate inevitable traumas,
Glass darkens as the masses of evil pull
Its mind deeper into self-inflicted dramas

Stress applied to previously stained reflection
Dirties the glass as the image grows in distortion
Narcissistic Vanity views more defection,
The sight of the glass imparts the dejection

Nonexistent mold of a flawless glass prevails,
Simple fixation based on times brutal reality,
Wallow in the smudges on the glass only veils
Beauty of indelible wisdoms gained in actuality

The Untitled Man

Never learned right from wrong
Didn’t belong to anyone
Mainly dejected man
Life was a last stand
Couldn’t afford to lose
Might as well hang his noose
Didn’t take free rides
Little joy big pride
Impossible to fail
Even when hope staled
Always fought to survive
Never sought to thrive
Enwrapped in dissatisfaction
No encumbered actions
Impeccable heart and conviction
Life just a big contradiction
Fate’s tortoise in the race
Held back by predestined pace

Hated by most men
No family or friends
Another lonely Rambo
Out in the field with no ammo
In the midst of sanities battle
Struggling to rive his shackle
Perpetually trying to juggle
His portentous struggles
Lacking the ability of offense
His defect superior defense
Merely the passionate individual
Failing to conquer life’s irrational rituals
Only peace one dream
With no support no team
Simply a different man
Too chained to stand
He didn’t care what they said
In his heart and in his head

The only reason he survived
GOD wanted him to thrive

Defect

I’m dying inside and out
The guilt trip you put me through
I can definitely live without

You used to be my strength
Now just my bind
Why can’t I get you out of my mind

They said if I choose you I’ll loose
I don’t need help
It’s you who’s the one that’s got issues

Like I said I will go the distance
Unlike you
You gave up on yourself and the rest of existence

Resistance to love and values on dreams
I just don’t understand why
Why’d your dreams unravel at the seems

Sometimes I get so caught up in my quest
I thought you were the one
No thanks to you I’m starting to care less about the rest

Rage

Existing blissfully numb and free
Embracing the rage inside me
Wrongs are right when you see one side
Self-destruction has been one smooth ride
The boat encumbered by his own masses
The phoenix drowning in his own ashes
The hero being stabbed with his own blade
Living each day to do what’s been forbade

Yearning for success and not serenity
Future of greatness yet bitter identity
Reborn amidst an angel of serendipity
Moved me to be the man I longed to be

I Will

The chance of ridicule rears yet again
Never once more shall I meet with disgrace
No matter what they say I will reign
On top the podium’s paramount place

Can’t be fazed by the loudest commotion
Nothing can get in the way of my track
As a dream bound train I’m set in motion
Going the distance and not turning back

Passion for the game keeps me alive
Never forgetting what I want is the key
Trust me there is no one who will strive
More to reach their true potential than me

Don’t try to get between my dream and I
No matter the obstacle it can’t hold me
Cannot jump but I promise I will fly
Above all men one day, you’ll see

More crippled than the average man
Created without strength or skill
But as long as I believe that I can
All I have to do is say I will

I will

Til the End of Time

Dripping with hatred and anger since birth,
Angel from heaven appeared bearing self-worth,
New flame lit at a time of confliction,
The blessed feeling dawned an addiction,
Love came soon after amidst the struggle,
A beautiful rose grew out of the rubble,
Yet anxiety and fear doused the roaring flame,
Awake in the ashes no longer impervious to pain
Awaiting this love I will forever remember,
Perfection in life only exists as tiny embers,
Longing for these beloved embers to reignite,
Until the end of time for this will I fight

The Boy Who Was Once a Man

In unimaginable disarray, there he lie
The boy who was once a man
Deserted by family friends and left to die

All he desired was to fulfill his most sacred dream
He didn’t desire anyone else or any other thing
But without the love of another his goal was too extreme

One fateful day he came across his chance of true devotion
One being was all it took to steal his legs from underneath him
An angel so stunning was thought to be caught in his imagination

This woman was as truly beautiful and pure as man could ever think
Because of her strikingly luminous aura of animation
In the boys head she had become an indelible ink

The boy realized he didn’t have enough virtue to be with that of a saint
His dream wouldn’t last without the missing piece of his withered heart
He understood he should forget about her but it took too much restraint

His dream had ceased to exist and been erased from his mind
His vow from childhood seemed to vanish in an instant
Thus he relinquished his eternal passion at which he shined

This boy who was once a man at the peak of his game
With every intention of being the best
Now seemed to be at the bottom with only him-self to blame

This “boy” was separated from the rest of the men
The only thing still keeping him going today
Was the chance to see his fair maiden again

…………………….This boy was once a man

That Night

My toes still numb with pain from the curling
Her lips created tremors, stopping my heart
Butterflies on fire inside, my stomach swirling
One fateful night her pulse entwined with mine
Blinded by the fireworks that went off
When our eyes collided for the first time

Logic left inferior, when the hearts in control
Living life afraid and destructive lost appeal
That serendipitous night, I discovered real
