Rose Petals of a Blue Moon

Lay low your sweet head, my simple sin
Soft eyes flutter like a butterfly wing.
Sweet breaths you take
Flourishing thoughts,Your gentle touch hypnotised ache.
Precious with each platinum kiss, bends and twists my craddled mind,
Sleepwalking my heart into a stardust whirlwind.
Eyes glistening, swollen blue moons,
Tredding softly through a silent night of our signature tune.
Intimate beneath the stars,planting seeds,
Snow falls on a garden that bleeds.
Your love bitten on my cheek, my juvenile phase,
Rose petals fall, while your fragrence stays.

Sharing a Glass of Loneliness

No one wants to drink alone,
For sweet time is precious and unknown.

But here sits a disheartened fool
Slouched heavy on an unsteady bar stool,
Remembering how it was to smile
As he drinks to forget about life for a while.

Trickling tears black as coal,
Escapes silently from an unbearable soul
So sad and all alone,
Don't know where he's come from,
Nor where he's going,

Defeated at the sound of war,
Crawling lifeless towards the shore
Bitter, broken with exhaust,
His eyes filled, with good times lost.

Puzzled with thoughts of gods creation,
Sprouting tears of devastation
He asks with difficulty breathing
Why life’s eyes are not seeing.

People killing, people dying,
People stealing, people lying,
Street kids crying, mothers sighing,
While God sits luxuriously spying.
O' how inspiring!

Synchronized thoughts running through his brain,
For Knowledge is truth
And Truth is pain.
He'd rather die than be insane.
Secrets tied to the tail of a dragon,
As the clock runs out
Hands of fate are replying

Into his drink he whispers
"I am not what you desire
This is all I have,
My soul, and not is it for hire"

Burning the candle of solitudes flame
Repelling the insidious deviants inside his mind
Truths deep hidden, though so thin they bleed
Chained to his heart with a collar and lead

Struggling to find the day
Never mind the right things to say
As he fills up his glass
From his hidden stash

He yells
"Wake me up when there are no longer goodbyes
Only smiling,happy,peaceful eyes

All I have i no longer need
This weight I bear is killing me
This is someone else you see
Just tie the noose and set me free"

As the traveller bows his final dawn
Never be his secrets known,
For no ear was lent to hear his song
A drink alone, departs lifes unknown.
