Optimism of a Pollyanna

There is one thing around every corner I turn.. Over every brick in the road to success,
and painting a veil on every aspiration I have for the future...
One thing that holds opinions, and forms a web of power in the attempt to tell me I will
fail...
Trying it's best to crush my dreams, and stop the tracks I leave behind me..
Faith... Faith that others hold in me.. and faith they don't..
Aside from all contradictions I continue to have faith in myself..
I continue to try and cross every brick.. climb every wall.. and bust through every web
formed to try and discourage me..
I believe that no matter what happens today there will always be another chance to try,
and try again tomorrow..
and if not tomorrow.. There will be another day to try again...
I hold the power to my own future..
My feet are firmly planted, and my heart set clearly in front of me...
I am not held back by anyone's contradictions or underestimated faith in my abilities..
The only person who can do anything to me... the only person that can stop me, and ruin
any chance of my recovery...
Is myself..
and I will succeed.

Only One Man

One life at a time...
One struggle too long...
One decision gone wrong,
and whole countries takes the toll..
War people cry! and the riots go out..
To the thought that one man made,
and the rest follow suit in arms..
It's not political to shed blood over feuds of power..
It's not humane to cause pain to those already suffering the empty hearts of their leaders...
War has no reason, no point, no end...
Guns are a tool for violence, and peace cannot ever come from them...
To fight for freedom is human nature, and a country in the line of fire will fight for
theirs...
The politician who calls war, is the war himself...
They are the beginning of war.. The power seekers... The status mongerers...
Politicians are the reason countries go to war...
There is nothing else...
But one man against a country...
He is the reason.
... and he is only one man.

A Star

Through Realities..
Dimensions, and Universes..
He, She, They, Them
Unite.. Reunite..
and Die to meet again..
Having, and enduring
the Consciousness,
and Subconsciousness described
as Life..
Each individually a Creation of Evolution..
A Star, and within that star..
Existence.

Another Day

So many meanings.. So many intentions, misunderstandings and disappointments in those two
words alone.. "Another day"..
Another day I try.. Another day to wait.. Another day for something to try again because
another day it failed..
Another day I'll smile again.. And another day there will be pain.. And another day like
every day when I sit here in patience wondering when it will no longer be.. Another day..
Wishing that, that moment of peace would come today.. And not another day..
but no matter how many days that "another" becomes I'm still left here waiting..
For security.. Another day.. For family.. Another day.. For love.. Another day.. But never
today.

Words From the Heart

Don't ask me to Love you if you don't know what it means...
Don't tell me you care if you can change your mind tomorrow...
Don't force me to feel if your not sure it's what you want..
Love is blind...
It's scares...
It hurts me...
and I don't want it that way anymore.

A Rhyme of Health, and Blessing

Upon the spirits of love, and bliss
The powers of peace, and harmony
The soil I plant my feet within,
And the Goddess; I do humbly serve thee…
Grant me now this fine fettle wish,
To cleanse me of all impurities
To fill my heart, my body, my spirit
With the grain of fruitful beginnings.
By Light, by life, by love, by laughter,
And by the law of which I follow;
Upon the rising incense smoke
May all I seek be hallowed.
So mote it be!

Black and White

Large be Small,
As dark as night.
She bare half black,
She bare half white.
Small be Large,
as bright as daylight.
May they stand tall,
Fair be their light!

Thirteen Prayers

Grant me the STRENGTH to accomplish my endeavors, to accept the things I cannot change, and the will to carry on.

Grant me the HEALTH to live a long and happy life. That I may be thankful for every day I am gifted to wander the Earth.

Grant me the FOCUS and clarity to pay attention to details, to attend each project one by one till they are done, and be confident in the decisions I make.

Grant me the ENERGY to take every step I take in my life, to give power my creations, and to complete the tasks I am given to complete.

Grant me the PROTECTION to keep me safe from hardship, envy, ill-wishes, and strife. Surround me with a barrier to protect me from those who mean harm.

Grant me the PROSPERITY to fulfill my dreams, and needs. The fruitful fortunes of life, and the good luck the receive them.

Grant me the RESILIENCE to stand back up and be the best that I can be. To know my limits, recognize my potentials and reach them.

Grant me the PEACE to calm my worries, to remove anxiety from my life. To live in true harmony, and to balance my energies for the benefit of myself, and those who surround me.

Grant me the WISDOM and knowledge to learn those secrets that are yet unknown. To learn truth, and recognize illusions. So I may live with understanding, and confidence.

Grant me the KINDNESS to have empathy for all that surrounds me. To respect, and treat others as I would want to be treated, and to live, laugh, learn, and love with all.

Grant me the SKILL to accomplish my tasks. To grow in my abilities, and communicate my intentions, and desires with clarity.

GOD bless me with your abundant and divine power, and protect me as I walk my path in accordance to free-will. That I may be joyful, and loved.

GODDESS bless me with your abundant and divine power. Teach me to live with purpose, and grant me your protection in this life.
So Mote it Be!
