Prince of Lies

Betrayer of thoughts
Seeker of lies
Cold and calloused
The one who despised
King of the world
Prince of the air
Fortune and glory
Yet not you cared
Fallen betrayal
Hopeless revenge
Promises of peace
Souls unhinged
Destructive desertion
Weaver of all woes
Murderous aggression
Founder of foes
Slithering waste
Serpent of doom
Roses are withered
While thorns are bloomed
Master of nothing
Throne to no heir
True mercy is given
To those who beware
Accept his lies
Seal your fate
Or denounce your wickedness
For Heaven awaits

A Prayer To the Almighty

I kneel myself before the mightiest of all kings

No man could ever boast or proclaim any works that are up to your level

You rise above all others who try to become gods

Realizing the foolishness in these conquest only makes me bow my head

For I know that you and only you are the one true king

No other (insert noun) could do what you have did for me

Sending your son for the price of my life and eternity

I will forever praise you, and give honor unto your name

My king, Let me have the privilege to worship you

Although, I am not worthy I know you adore all that you create

Some may say I’m a mistake, but I know the true revelation

You are my maker and my maker is perfection.

Glory be to God in the Highest, Praise be to Jesus, and the Holy Spirit for guidance

Amen

Lou

I know you left us/ way before your time
And still it's hard for us to see exactly why
The pain you suffered/ kept hidden within
No way to tell us, nowhere to begin
Yet you lived on for 35 years
Until finally you couldn't suffer through anymore tears
I know you loved us all/ but I wish I could've done more
To help you cope with the burden you tried so hard to ignore
But your spirit lives on/ in a place like no other
And one day I know I'll see you my brother
But until then/ know how much we cared for you
Rest in Peace my friend/ My buddy Lou

My Dear Aunt

When I think of my dear Aunt Sheila
A great big smile comes across my face
You see, no matter what the circumstances in life
Her will would never break
Compassionate love she gave to all
Evident in all of her blissful ways
Family was first, this I know for sure
In all of her caring days
Oh my dear Aunt Sheila had herself a wit
With a smile at least a mile long
Whether she was conversing with friends or family
Heck even listening to a good ol' country song
Mother, Aunt, Wife, Sister, Daughter, Grandma and GG-all terms
But one describes her just right
A beautiful soul always to be missed
An angel living in heavenly sunlight
Go be with Jesus my dearest Aunt
Let your smile brighten Heavens gate
For we know we shall see you again
In Paradise-where you await

My Thoughts

Magnificent stone
Surrounds me in mystique here
I am overwhelmed

Water has spilled here
Lavishing the brilliant stone
Smiling as I watch

Contemplative soul
Filled with natures gifts to me
I will not grow old

Let This Touch Your Heart

Joy
Everlasting life
Sins paid for
Unlimited grace
Sorrows erased

Ceasing all suffering
Heaven and its pearly gates
Return of my savior
Indiscriminate love of all race
Soul is saved
These are my top 10 things that I am thankful for

The Deepest Love

The life that we lead doesn't seem worth it sometimes
When all hopes and dreams are shattered
But hope isn't lost, for faith can make you whole.
Don't give up, and always stay strong.

Trust is a gift that's often squandered
The darkest of days are met with despair
I'm reaching out to you to let you know that I still care
Do you still believe in me?

Many vows are spoken in the deepest of the soul
A time in life where we have no control
Keep your head up for I'll never forsake
This I will promise you.

This bond I make, forever it is yours to keep
Sealed with love, in faith we do receive
Paid not with money but the blood of an innocent man
Life for you to live eternally.

Face the Truth

I wonder who you are?
I wonder who I see?
Will you face the truth to be set free?

Always worried about others.
Focus on you.
You choose to run from conviction instead of embracing the truth.

What will it take for you
to realize there's a better life?
Your heart is consumed by all these bitter lies.

You've sheltered your emotions.
You've raised your guard.
Life is so much easier, yet you seem to make it hard.

Your stuck in a rut
With no way out.
False hope you rely on, but still there's constant doubt.

You're sinking quicker
into a trap that can't be sprung.
The only way to escape is to trust in the ONE.

You have to live your life
And have some faith.
For we're not guaranteed another day.

But if you should fall.
Don't ever fret.
You can make a choice that you'll never regret.

Serve the Lord
with all your heart.
Begin a new life with a brand new start.

When you face the truth
It sets you free

Perfect For Me

V1: As we go through our lives, it always seems there’s a surprise that meets us along the way.
I can truly attest to this because since our first kiss/ I’ve been speechless, I don’t know quite what to say.

Chorus: I could say you’re perfect/ but we both know that ain’t true.
The only man that ever was/ died for me and you.
I’ll just speak from my heart/ and tell you what I see.
I know you might not be perfect/ but baby, you’re perfect for me.

V2: The more I get to know you/ It seems there’s one thing that’s true/ it’s the love that you show me from your heart.
You know, darling, it amazes me, that you and I had a chance to meet/ and God had it planned out from the start.

Chorus: I could say you’re perfect/ but we both know that ain’t true.
The only man that ever was/ died for me and you.
I’ll just speak from my heart/ and tell you what I see.
I know you might not be perfect/ but baby, you’re perfect for me.

Interlude: So I’ll cherish you baby; and let you know how much I care
And thank God for blessing me, and in his love with you I’ll share
So you won’t ever question; for I’ll always speak the truth
I gotta tell you baby…..”I love you.”

Chorus: I say you’re perfect/ but we both know that ain’t true.
The only man that ever was/lived and died for me and you.
I’ll just speak from my heart/ and tell you what I see.
You might not be perfect/ but baby, you’re perfect for me.
Nobody’s perfect/ but you’re perfect for me.
