Thinking of You

Alone, thinking of you, I sat
Recalling that smile, that chat

Nothing, but you, I need
My heart, my eyes, all bleed

No words can describe how I feel
No heart can hear it, flesh or steel

Memory

You are always with me
But you cannot interact

I always see you
Always hear your voice

Always sense your smile
And always feel your touch

You always seem to be here
Showing me whatever's right

You're always right next to me
A guide within my life

All you say is all you've said
And stays here to this day

The lessons you have taught to me
Stay throughout time

I want to hug you
I want to know

To know you're here right now
But I can't

And you're not
You're just a memory

Fear

It fills, it feeds
It kills, it breeds

It posions, it sickens
Limbs stiffen, blood thickens

It is nothing,
It is everything.

It is made clear
And it is fear.

Hidden

Does no one notice the pain I can't hide,
              try as I might?
Or that i'm not by their side
         but in mid-flight?
Does no one notice the life i wish for,
Or past my walls to the open door?
Can no one see not me but my true self
not my mask from of the shelf?
One thing that i can tell...
I'm truely not that well...

Directions

Its funny, all the directions life can take
How dreams seem to linger when you wake
Do we end up right where were supposed to be?
Not the when or where, but the world we see
The promise of a new day
And letting things come as they may
Many roads have led me here
Each new step, moving past the fear
Whose to say how each day will end
But we all do the best we can
To follow our heart
From the start.

Crush

There are times I look at you
And see you as a friend
Whereas there might be others
When I'll love you till the end

You tease me all the time
A bully you almost are
But when you blush and say "I'm sorry"
I nearly melt into your arms

I often say "I don't have a crush"
But deep down its a lie
I wish I could go up and give you a kiss
But I am way to shy.

So i'll go
But before I leave
I simply have to know
Do you indeed love me?

The One

Be with the one that makes you happy
The one that makes you smile
The one that makes you laugh
And each day worth while
Live life to the moment
Try hard to make it last
Because life is short
It goes by fast
So when you find love
Don't let it slip away
Hold it forever
And cherish it each day
As long as you are happy
That is what you should do
Love that someone and let them know
Before your life is through

Shattered

You tear me down and tell me your trying to
                    rebuild your life.
But out of the rubble you wish for me to rise but
you stole all the good that made me.
I sit here and not know what to do but I crumble
more and more as the days pass and you ask
                     WHAT'S WRONG!
Your whats wrong with me, I was once strong now
I'm dead and falling apart wishing for that final
            push towards condemnation.
I hope that your life is rebuilt because i lay here
          broken, shattered, and in ruins.

Whisper

Whisper to me when i'm cold and tired
And I have fallen foul of life
Smile for me when I have all but given up

Please talk to me past and present
of something you have yet taste
And let me pause to wonder as evening
Casts his breath

Then if per chance our paths do finally cross
Let it be in spring
In perhaps a distant place where we
Have never been before
