Women of Extinction

We were more popular
When you felt lazy,
More important when
We cooked you potatoes and gravy...

To please our boys and men
We would go to any length,
Even begged for mercy
Were pillars of strength...

We are the glue to glass houses
Being abused by the hour by the day,
Even ignored or unheard of by many
But we will continue to love come what may...

Negatively spoken of around the world
And frequently pacified by our nation,
But the torch GOD placed in our hearts
Is not a symbol of accusation more of edification...

Tear us down kick us to the ground
But we will always strive for equality,
We are free women accepting nothing less
Our guardian angels fill us with spirituality...

We are women born to cease dissention
We are women not women of extinction

Full Moon

Moonball's sunken eyes
snowy mountain silhouettes
strange birds flew backwards

Affectionate Color

I am cupids bow arrow flying high I go good love I show. Although I am golden his wings are so beholden. Mischievous is his red father beautifully fiery his yellow mother I land seeing only affectionate color.

What Do Old Men Do

Cupid's arrow blaze a path
leading to my lonely heart
to catch a ride on your wings
what do old men do?

Too Few Haiku

Sun shined darkness
upon the rainbow
after earth frowned

Rain fell below
swelling rock and sand
all was well in the valley

Muze flowers blooms
in the winter
because my heart rains joy

Love loves love
as the sun kisses summer
here comes roses

The universe paused
when it saw beauty
the worlds were holding hands

My Own Heart

In my own heart
I will always be true,
I will look in the mirror
And never be blue...

In my own heart
The sun will shine,
Making brighter days
I know I'll be fine...

In my own heart
I am someone,
I am someone who's free
Free until kingdom come...

In my own heart
I will say I can,
Even when it's raining
And there's no band...

In my own heart
I won't boast my name,
Even if I am blessed
To become rich with fame...

In my own heart
I will continue to love,
Continue to share
As he does from above...
