Caroline Mackey Poem
A rough road traveled,
but one I must.
Along this road I find the love of my children.
Strong and steady,
fragile and free.
You I see,
a light shining just for me.
You are here I can not believe.
Smiles and laughter from all of you to me.
A journey filled with fright,
just wait and see I have just begun to fight.
For you see there is a future for them,
for you,
and for me together as a family.
So don't give up on me,
just stay with me on this road to finding me.
This I write for my children for I would not be me without them. For my husband
for giving me strength when I feel I can bear no more. Thank you for loving me so.
Love Me!

Caroline Mackey Poem
On this your graduation day, let it be said that pride is
just one of many things felt
This day is set aside to acknowledge all the many
Accomplshments you have achieved
As you walk across the stage, look back and smile.
Look ahead, knowing that whatever path you take,
You are never alone.
For you take a piece of those left behind with you.
So smile, laugh, and cry knowing where ever you go
And whatever you do, we are always with you

Caroline Mackey Poem
On this day, the first day of the rest of our life together I pledge my eternal love to
only you
On this day I gaze into your eyes and see that you are the half that makes me
hole
On this day I see that trough love is really worth waiting for
On this day, the first day of the rest of our life together I pledge my eternal love to
only you
On this day we will cry for we have found the one we are ment for
On this day we will smile for what is felt is pure joy
On this day, the first day of the rest of our life together I pledge my eternal love to
only you
On this day as we dance to our song we here a melody no other can here
On this day and through eternity we will dance as one
On this day, the first day of the rest of our life together I pledge my eternal love to
only you

Caroline Mackey Poem
Close your eyes my baby blue eyed angel
Close your eyes my baby blue eyed girl
Close your eyes and take a little nap
When you awake my little blue eyed angel
I'll be right here by your side my love

Caroline Mackey Poem
He raises his voice louder and louder it goes
I beg him stop, stop ,please stop
He grabs me, he pushes me
The more I beg him to stop, the angrier he becomes
I slap him thinking it will stop him
Oh so wrong I am, his anger deepens
He hits me again and again
The pain oh so strong I tell only one, his sister
Soon too be mine if this, this pain I can endure
I cry often for I love him so
I cry often for I can't take his pain away
Oh Lord place your heeling hands on the one I love so
Ease his pain, give him strength to let go of his past
Show him your love so he can truly love again

Caroline Mackey Poem
To my dearest friend on this your graduation night.
Let me say there are no words that can truly express what you mean to me.
It seems not long ago we just met.
Now look at you with your cap and gown.
How proud of you I am this very night.
Tears of joy I will cry for you as this is just a stepping stone on the road of life for you.
Loving you always on this road shared, yet not. Your friend in Christ

Caroline Mackey Poem
On this the first anniversary of your birth
Loved ones gather around to share this blessed
day
Mya Lee Ann you are truly a gift from above
A gift that fills many hearts and lives
A ray of sunshine to be shared among many
Thankful we are to God every day for sending us
Our little angel
Mya Lee Ann

Caroline Mackey Poem
Amazing to me this man would be.
On September 4th 2007 he would be sent to me
and my children to comfort us.
Sitting along the side of the highway after an auto
accident my children and I were quite shaken.
Countless vehicles passed us by as if nothing had happened.
Then all of a sudden this pickup truck pulled over.
A some what tall, slender man got out, it was Mike.
So kind and caring he seemed.
Staying with my children and I long after my husband, the officer,
and the tow truck arrived.
Talking to us, reassuring us that things would be fine.
Thank you God for sending my family an angel named Mike!

Caroline Mackey Poem
On this day 16 years ago a beautiful baby girl was born.
As I cried they took her away.
My grandmother watching as if nothing were wrong.
Photos came for a brief moment then stopped
She was gone never to be herd from or seen.
It seemed as if she just vanished.
The agencies said her new family had moved.
No forwarding address to be found.
They apologize for the inconvenience.
Trying to convince me not to give up hope.
Hope what is this, something I find hard to have.
Years have come and gone and not a word.
The last photo I reserved she must have been 3 or 4 years old.
My search it still continues today,
but not a trace of her or her family do I see.
On this the anniversary of her birth
I still cry for the loss of my baby girl I bore so long ago.

Caroline Mackey Poem
Little children come today
Little children come and play
Little children one and all
Littl children big and small
Little children come one, come all
See the things I have for you
Toys, games, and lots of other things
Shimmering, shining, glittering too
Come share with me and I'll share with you
Little children come today, sit with me and we'll
play
