Eternal Struggle For Serenity

Serenity, the gift I’ve forever longed
To be peaceful as a lily in a still pond
My fear drops away like raindrops down a windowpane
Love flows like the wind through the lions mane
The journey for courage is a eternal quest
Feelings of brotherhood is the best
Never again will I feel addictions pain
Everyday my struggle continues to wane
Companionship is the spark of existence
It’s something worth going the distance
Being alone at night is dark and dreary
Without another soul, it gets quite weary
But everyday being me is a little more okay
I feel bright and alive like a sunray
My soul is healing, friendship a band aid
Far few in between real friends I’ve made
But those I have mean everything to me
I’ll never let them go, that you shall see
Basically my friends give me my serenity
Through my actions and words, this you will see

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving
To me thanksgiving signifies this
Togetherness of family and those you miss
Stuffing, ham, pies and everything
Sit down and gnaw on a turkey’s wing
The one day a year it’s ok to be a glutton
Make some more room by popping a button
A day to celebrate a feast of food
Dine with the in-laws, try not to be rude
A day to eat and have a little fun
Then lay on the lawn and soak up some sun
Pecan, apple and minced meat pie
Better than fireworks on the fourth of July
Ham, turkey, lamb and some other meats
Grab a fork and knife and get in your seats
But on this part the most important part
Remember the needy, keep them in your heart

To a Beautiful Girl

To A Beautiful Girl
Everyday I get to see a beautiful young lady
Her smile is gorgeous, something you need to see
Her laugh is quite infectious
Nothing anyone could miss
She’ll light up any room she may enter
Sitting next to her, there’s nothing better
I look forward to seeing how she’ll make my day
Everything she does affects me in a good way
Her eyes are the prettiest things I’ve ever seen
Haven’t seen anything so beautiful since I was a teen
Her smile gives me butterflies in my stomach
It even looks cute when she gives a lolly a lick
Then when she said she would someday consider me
I almost did a back flip, was full of glee
If it even happens it won’t be for a while
But still, just the thought give’s me a smile
If we got together, I’d treat her like gold
Backrubs, flowers and kisses, it’d never get old
I hope someday she gives me that chance
Cause for her, I’d always keep up the romance

Snow Rain

White gown flows like wind blown snow
Even with delicate features, she rides magnificent creatures
Her attributes, heavenly shaped curves, delicious smile
Divine jewel green eyes like set emeralds
With powerful and fine hands she steers her steed
Dynamic cloven hooves pound the passing earth
Snow capped mountains swell with each gait
Toward the towering castle of her dwelling

Kiss of Death

Kiss Of Death
I’ll be your last vision of stones and trees
You will eat your tongue and die on your knees
For I am the kiss of death
Your struggle will last but one breath
I am the king of revolution
Mass extinction is my solution
I feel no pain or sorrow for my foes
Landing six feet under’s the way it goes
Across the world no one is hated more
My stomach never churns, even amidst the gore
The world has gone completely viral
Irreversible, unstoppable, in a downward spiral
I feed off the violence and dismay
Then I step in and cause total disarray
The only innocent are the unborn
But even for the hell their born into, I cannot mourn
Because I feel no sympathy or love
I am the symbol of the black dove
And don’t forget I’ll always be around
When you’ve sinned to much, I’ll put you in the ground

Candle

The wick burns eternally
Slow lazy flame dancing
Moves like a snake charmer
Though its symbol is of pure power
Its fragile life is easy to snuff

Her

Her
Awaken with her in morn
So sweet her face angelic
Her emerald eyes set jewels
Her sweet pose traps me
