Sundari Kannan Poem
Dreams will never cease,
I dream of our walk together
the lane of rustling shades
The holding of our hands
That gave simple but immense pleasure
The lying on the beach with star filled night
The misty night with moon
That paled in our love and fervour
I hold all these of you my dear
Dream never cease will never cease
I will never allow it to cease
So what if you are gone
The blast has taken you away
But my dreams are in tack
Never to leave you away
You will help beat my heart
You will help me live
You will breathe along
To make my life mammoth
We will live for peace
We shared those thoughts in serenity
We dreamed of all those tranquility
Now we live through them
With no qualms…….sunkan

Sundari Kannan Poem
A mother is a legend
Never to whither or bend
She has plenty binders
Little, big or strong never fragile
She is the source of one’s love
That never dries or withers away
Even in death sometime she smiles
At lost regrets her children mourn about
Even at seventy a man can remember
My mom used to cook it this way
Something related to his very being strong never to sway
Moon would stand witness
To young mouth fed wailing and tear jerking intense
Her mental image the child never age
She can swiftly think the day one in her arms any stage,
Hurt she will for her little ones
Helpless in state but never say die her attitude with smiles
When you were a kid will always remain
She is a punch bag, dear diary to many, who hit with unintentional blows
Remorse and guilt are her parade to watch and help in stride with no tirade
She stands at a junction like a martyred stone
She stands a witness to many flow of love, still alone
For she will not side or stand apart
Knowing her base as inseparable part
Her children are waves to flow back with love
She never ceases to expect this to conclude or impede
As long as mum is around and one is lucky to have
A dedicated soul with only love in her heart…..

Sundari Kannan Poem
Turn me on
The innocent smile of a baby what a turn on
The mother bird feeding the babe what a turn on
The licking of wild cats and picking them to safety oh! what a turn on
The flying bird painting the sky what a turn on
The morning sun so bright to wake what a turn on
The evening sun that brings life to the sky oh what a turn on
The rare wild animal relation what a turn on
The dew dipped roses filling with fragrance what a turn on
The dew dressed grass soothing and chilling what a turn on
The first little shower of the summer oh what a turn on
The first spring opening scene with bees buzzing on buds oh what a turn on
The surprise spread to tuck in hunger oh what a turn on
The gifting of things to poorer lot oh what a turn on
The hug of assurance that I am there not to worry what a turn on
So many things to share and spread I could go on and on….sunkan

Sundari Kannan Poem
The winter morning as arrived
Bringing misty chillness alive
The chants are loud in the sky
With bells ringing in the temple side
Mesmerizing are the swish
Of the water flowing beneath
As I lay there so calm
Nothing to hurry no qualm
Hear the children in their bath
Splashing water cutting apart
Ladies up carrying water pot
With wet clothes on their shoulder
The ducks family seems to know
They move on they move on
Slowly the boat moves to shore
Showing time to wake and stow
What a blissful night it was
The full moon cascade bright soothing path
It was a meditative drive
Which I carry in my feelings stacked
To be referred in future packed....SUNKAN

Sundari Kannan Poem
Time has stood still for me
The rest of the scene has moved
It has been a year
This very place had a look of fear
In my arms withering dear
In The splatter of rain
Your thoughts I bring back in vain
When I lost you in pain
Now what did I gain
Will walk to your grave
My mind is now brave
Journey ahead will pave
For you a smile I would save
Oh! My child you wait for me
With extended arm I see
A time will come when I would be free
Our soul will mingle and freeze....sunkan
