The Wonderful Journey of the Butterfly

This beautiful journey begins
From a courtship routine
The male perch themselves on leaves
And create a glorious scene
Waiting for a female
Just to fly on by
Now he has his chance
But, she’ll be the one to decide

The male needs to find out
Whether she’s been fertilised
If she’s already pregnant
He’s soon going to realise
She’ll release a powerful chemical
Which is called ‘pheromone ‘
That tells him she’s unavailable
So he might have to fly and roam

Soon after they have mated
She looks for a place to lay
Laying her tiny eggs
Mostly oval in shape
She can lay two hundred or more
Just in a single day
But she needs to find a milkweed
On this beautiful sun spring day

The tiny little caterpillars
Start to grow inside
Eggs no bigger that a pin heads
And thats no word of a lie
They feed on the milkweed
And the enzymes in the egg
Until these little caterpillars
Start growing up really big

Now when they hatch
From their eggs
They will eat and eat and eat
Eating up everything
Of those milkweed leaves
They will start expanding
Getting bigger and bigger
Shedding their skin several times
Now that is really clever

Then they just stop eating
And know their time has come
For their stunning transformation
Four stages have begun
They’re find a special twig or leaf
And hang them-selves upside down
Then spin a silky cocoon
Where they won’t be found

It’s called metamorphosis
Turned into a shiny chrysalis
Inside the caterpillars’ changing
Into a beautiful butterfly
It dissolves itself into a soup
That’s truly organised
Inside a process is taking place
It’s forming disc’s, a body, a face

This wonder of nature you can see
When they emerge victoriously
This transition takes some time
For the birth of an exquisite butterfly
One of nature’s beautiful scenes
Celebrating new birth in spring
The reproduction of a butterfly
A remarkable cycle, that does not die

Simple Man

I’m a simple man
In a simple world
Living a simple life
Loving a simple girl
Simplicity such
A wonderful thing
Got a simple heart
That wants to sing

So every day
When I get up
I simply turn on
That simple stuff
It’s the simple things
In life for me
Because simple things
Are always free

I love to mingle
I’m kind and gentle
Have a heart of gold
That likes to giggle
Have a simple smile
Like a crocodile
And I dress so smart
With simple style

So every day
When I get up
I simply turn on
That simple stuff
It’s the simple things
In life for me
The simple things
Just set you free

I have a simple home
With simple style
A simple garden
Flowers worthwhile
Simplicity is such
A beautiful thing
Have a simple heart
That wants to sing

I’m a simple man
With a simple heart
Love a simple wife
Cause she’s simply smart
Live in a simple town
In a simple way
With our simple kids
That are simply great

So every day
when we get up
We simply turn on
That simple stuff
It’s the simple things
In life for us
Those simple things
You can simply trust

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

There's four ninja turtles
Cleaning up the streets
Trained in the art of ninja karate-e
They hide down in the sewers
Watching for criminals
Could it be for real or is it April fools

Teenage mutant ninja turtles
Six foot dudes they can hurtle
Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles
Ancient arts in Japanese circles

Leo, Donnie, Mikey and Raph
Quick with their hands
And smart with their mouths
Trained by Splinter their sensei rat
Turtle doves with shells on their backs

Teenage mutant ninja turtles
six foot dudes in Aprils journals
Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles
Ancient arts in Japanese circles

Red, orange, purple and blue
Coloured masks to give you a clue
Fast with their feet and their weapons
Teenage turtles a force to be reckoned
Twin katana’s, Bo' that staff
Nun Chaka's, sai, there first class

Teenage mutant ninja turtles
Six foot dudes at your dispersal
Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles
Ancient arts in Japanese circles

These turtle buddies slip and slide
Still in their teens their skills sky high
Their quick and mean and fast on the scene
Fighting the evil foot clan team
You better believe it, better run fast
These ninja turtles will kick shredders ass

Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles
Round house kicks in reversal
Teenage mutant Ninja turtles
Martial arts in Japanese circles

The Swan

Upon the lakes they do swim gliding so effortlessly
These species of graceful waterfowl the largest of anatidae family
In their beautiful pure white plumage with elegant long curved necks
Blunted beaks and big webbed feet living together by water's edge
These magnificent creatures of the waters are a sign of purity and love
Remind us of the blessings in our relationships a gift from heaven above
If all goes well in there pairing they will stay together for rest of their life’s
When they glide upon the waters of our awareness they bring us deep insight

These birds of Mother Nature they’re exquisite and unique
Bearing exotic waves of beauty to our dreams as we do sleep
They swim around in our divine mind adding colours of delight
Encouraging us to spread our wings and take our glorious flight
Courting occurs on rivers and lakes throughout the known world
Whilst they live on plant life tiny fish and scattered bread as well
You might see them duck their heads as they feed upon their foods
But you better beware of their aggression whilst they protect their broods

The elegance of these myterious birds are displayed in a ballet dancer
Dancing into our emotions with their romantic artisticpower
Transforming our souls with delightful moves bringing us into harmony
With a brilliant performance of balance, control and technical flexibility
The beautiful dying swan pours its heart out as death draws near
Greeting this with an exceptional beautiful ending balladeer
Its modulated voice singing the swan-song of death so sweet
This harmonious sound can be heard as its last creative piece

The crown retain the ownership to all unmarked mute swans
A ceremony takes place once a year and lasts for five days long
Swan upping is a tradition dated back to the twelfth century
Markers row up and down the rivers paying tribute to the Queen
In England they’re a protected species and owned by Her Majesty
The wing spans on these wonderful birds can extent to several feet
These sacred aquatic birds male and female cobs and pens
Those little cygnets and swanlings on a swan lake that never ends

Faith Can Move Mountains

You know faith is a substance
Yes, a spiritual law
They say it moves mountains
And, I’ve seen it before
You see without prayer
It’s not going to work
Words without actions
Are dead and desert

They say it moves mountains
But faith needs to grow
You must hear the word
Then the mustard seeds’ sown
It starts off little
And then branch’s out more
Becomes part of the vine
Like a true devout it soars

Love is the answer
To a lot of our prayers
But faith is the action
Upon mountains we stare
Words of the spirit
Righteous and true
Become like the Father
Yes, me and you

You know faith can move mountains
Let’s all pray together
No matter the mountain
No matter the weather
Big or small
This problem we face
We can do better
With the gift of God’s grace

The Power of God

The power of God is a wonderful thing
Makes one man leap the other to sing
God brings joy in abundance too
Singing and dancing and healing virtue

The precious Holy Spirit will be your guide
The Spirit of truth speaks quietly inside
Teaching you about the Lord Jesus Christ
Revealing to you good spiritual advice

God wants your soul to really prosper
In every area, so reject the imposter
He’s given you the anointing to succeed
He’s says take my word and just prove me

He would never let his child down
So put on your armour and stand your ground
And tell the devil that he won’t win
I belong to God and he took my sin

To know the Lord is to be blessed
But don’t forget the trials and tests
God makes sure you’re true to Him
With little tests we learn to swim

When we’ve learnt to trust in Him
God trusts us with bigger things
So speak His word with boldness now
And praise God for the victory, wow!

I Love You More Than
All The Whispers In The Winds
                                             I Have A Passion

                                        I Love You More Than
All The Secrets Of The Night
                                             I Hold A Passion

                                        I Love You More Than
                                      All The Waterfalls Falling
                                           You Are My Passion

Small Passerene Birds

In the southern parts of Africa
You can hear me singing my song
A member of the finch family
Maybe the smallest one

I’m a small passerine bird
Such a tiny, tiny, thing
Like the colour of the sun
Bright shining from my wings
I’m a vibrant yellow soul
With an attractive mellow hue
I’m a border fancy singing
Whistling these songs to you

We are the songbirds of America
Hey’ the special roller tours
The beautiful American songsters
The ones you cannot ignore

I’m a small passerine bird
Such a tiny, tiny, thing
Like the colour of the grass
Bright shining from my wings
I’m a vibrant green soul
With plenty of attitude
I have a wide range of songs
Let me sing you the blues

Were a colourful chorus of birds
Competing in the shows to sing
But not during the molting period
In the summer just after the spring

Were the birds of Canary Islands
But took refuge on Spanish sails
The most famous finch in history
Singing beautiful as nightingales

I’m a small passerine bird
Such a tiny, tiny, thing
Like the colour of a rose
Bright shining from my wings
I’m a vibrant redish soul
A brilliant little actor
Hear me bellow out
Have I got the Xfactor

We are popular cage birds
On both sides of the Atlantic
The hen she’s kind of cute
But the cock, now he’s romantic

Joan of Arcadia

Just a small village girl in such a big world
Feeding the animals in the quite fields
Smiling and singing, laughing too
Joan of Arcadia sang songs for you
A Leader, a Martyr, a Warrior and Saint
No military background a peasant girl quaint
Hearing God’s voice on the call for her life
A teenage girl drew sword by her side

She disguised herself as a man
Marched for eleven days as fast as she planned
To meet the Dauphine the heir to the thrown
To convince Him that she would fight for his own
This time she was met with great success
And an army was given the military best

The hundred year war between England and France
Would soon be led by the Saviour of France
At the tender young age of only seventeen
Joan would soon fulfil all her dreams
The Maid of Orleans’ by which she was known
Led France to victory and put Charles on the thrown
Now Joan of Arc was very smart
With armour and white horse, she battled till last

She fought the Burgundians and English at Orleans
And the whole of France stood proud like a team
But conspirators were mounting, her power too great
We will get rid of her and deal her, her faint
And Charles did send her on a bogus mission
Where she was captured and commissioned

The Burgundies keeping her for several months
No word from her King, she had goose bumps
Torturing her and questioning her on many things
They wanted a signed confession of sin
That the voices she heard were that of demons
When actually they were Saints that were beaming
They became furious when they couldn’t catch her out
Her humility and skill made heaven stand proud

Joan became tired and they got their result
Seventy charges they would invoke
One of those charges not to dress like a man
And Joan would be imprisoned for the rest of her span
The English weren’t happy with the French court
And set up a way so she broke an oath
They left her armour in her cell
Fore well knowing she would rebel
She broke their rule of wearing her armour
And they handed her over to the Church Fathers
She was tried for witch craft and heresy
At the age of nineteen burnt at the stake

There’s never been such hero of France
Joan was defiant at her last dance
Her spirit remained strong beneath those flames
But the people did cry you fools are insane
What a vicious assault on a beautiful life
Her murderers would soon see her great light

Tunnel of Love

A beautiful tunnel of beautiful tree’s
Walking together beneath these blossom scenes
Hand in hand girl we walk together
Petals of pink blow across like feathers
Such an amazing colourful place
Beginning of Autumn shines on your face
Romance in the air for us to share
When you look at me I know you care
The wind blows gently binding us together
As we caress under this twilight weather
With the sun light twinkling in the sky
I see the love burning in your eyes
I feel your heart as we embrace
Can you feel mine too as it starts to race
You’re so gorgeous with a beautiful smile
You’ve taken my heart for miles and miles
There’s something that I’ve been meaning to say
It’s your love that’s blown me away today
