The Way Home

From where I am I now begin
So over my head, so over my self
How can the future be my home
When I’m not here now?
I need to make a detour and return to my home.
The reality I have now,
My heart pounding, am still breathing.
But if I just have now, will I go overboard?
Will I indulge and loose it all?
There has to be a place that makes them whole
All in one and one in all.
Where is that place that I call home?
Where is it?
Where is it?
Is it here?
Is it there?
Is it now?
Or was it then?
Will I get to it
And give my mind some rest?

Me Me Me
Don’t block the way
I need to find my home today
I see it now from far away.

But the past has gone to rest
And the future has not come yet
So what is left is all present
Where the heart finds what it needs
Not looking beyond what it does
In its rhythm it says:
The present boundless
The past hopeless
The future does not exist
But all come together in one place
A place that makes them whole
This is it, the present
This is home.

Unknown

Expecting
not knowing,
feeling
somehow there is a plan
a bigger one
which I still don't understand,
I go minute by minute
for the first time
not looking out
but looking within,

and then again
the doubts attack
the fears follow
and the tears come back

Where are you taking me
don't I need to know?

You say second by second
when even that becomes so slow
where do you head from here
when there is nowHere to go?

My Secret Room

My hiding place
that’s what you are
My secret room
where I feel safe,
When I don’t know
what else to do
When I don’t know
which way to go
I come to you
In front of you
I raise my voice
Call out to you
Inside our meeting place
Where you wipe the tears
and tell me the truth
about my true self,
that it is not minute
In your presence,
Then is when I know
in your embrace
in the silence
In that secret space
That all is well
all is timeless...

Standing Still

Standing where I am
My eyes take off into the empty distance
To the splitting path,
where no one straight road rests.

I look up and down
I look and look…

Mind to the rescue
with what it knows,
Intoxicated by fear
swirls and swirls in spheres.

It brings me back to nowhere.

A place
where I stay the course
My legs bound to the solid ground
I stand.

Infinitely hushed
By breaths of trees,
Their movements, their dance.

Sliding this way
And coming back
then the other way

I stay in the gust of my uncertainty.

The gift of now is our shield
They serenade,
Made of a native rock
We are standing on the root
here is our home
we stand protected.

Let me stay with you then
Let me join you in your dance
Let me share on the air,
be part of your breath;
And poise in stillness
Where I am now
Amongst you.

Let It Be

Who has not felt the aloneness
The uncertainty
of waking?

When eyes undefended
get a glimpse of the day's might
Alienated from the stillness of the night
Into a sight that is not quiet yet,

Probing around with unfocused gaze
Uncertain chill
into the light.

It is hesitation before the new
Of letting go
For staying is nowhere.

Let me be with you then
holding you gently within myself
you are my alleyway to the morning.

Blossom

I saw a little plant today
With wide leaves
It showed me its big heart
Shivering With the wind,
Slapped and opened.
Saw the colors it tried to hide
All along.

Cross Over

You wait for the moment
you give yourself back to yourself
and recognize it.
Take notice of its soft whisper,
Before now you could not make out
amongst the screams that took control
Only this time your eyes open
For the first time
and cross over.
Your heart speaks loud
After a long silence
and you hear it clear.
It greets you,
lifts up its hands
And welcomes you
"I remember you"
It whispers.

Call Out

We call out
but still fear someone
will hear it

Hey

I hear him calling
I go my way
not listening
My eyes closed
Dwelling in my own tiny world.
My mind reeling,
Forgetting,
Where It’s heading.
My feet following my mind
wheeling..

Can’t go on anymore
I hear my heart pounding.

Lend me a hand
Am exhausted!

I say my hands are mine
And don’t want to be touched
If you extend me yours
Mine cannot be found.

And don’t play with my mind
It’s used to what it knows
If you tell it new things
It cannot tolerate.

Just stand still a moment!

I need air to go on
I long for his whisper
be in his embrace.
I recognize his voice
In the sweet air I take
That’s how I remember
My creator’s true name.

it is calling
breath her in.

Happen To Me

Let the surge dwindle
Let it be complete.

In its tender touch,
Let the spike in your rose,
Not pierce me but wake me up.
Let the peck you give me
be of love with no end...
Let the lane to the hill
Give me way to come back
Let the air I inhale
Find its way and Unite.

So that your whole being
may happen to me.
