The Tide

It is upon this moment,
That I will turn the page,
Forge my own meaning,
Gripping the next stage,

For the waves; ever so fierce tonight,
Patterned blows to our sweet fragility,
A melee of incomparable height,
Throwing us into virility,

You usher in a day already passed,
My screams are left a tainted unease,
Storms gather to tear our mast,
All that is left: a pathetic 'Please?',

Winding down this helix of obscurity,
An Ocean filled with questions remain,
Nothing will repel it's ferocity,
The tears, the scars: Were we insane?

This Feeling

The trampling of usual activity, A displacement
Of the mind; Now I can't focus my eyes,
Creeping into thoughts that you fought, against and,
Deprived, You have been, since you turned left,

It seems, But What is this euphoria that claims,
All that is here that reigns,
Supreme over a tiny space, and craves,
All that you have torn to attain, to bring
An overwhelming peace to this time.

The Game

The die are placed on the board of our lives,
Both sets of eyes, horribly kept shut,
The exchange of fantasy from reality; and the stage set,
Here, turns are not given but literally taken,
An entrée of malice with Devilish intent, Surely time well spent,

Roll after roll, When will it end?
The paths on offer are many, reaching toward eternity,
The climax at a bridge, An offer to fall,
A glance at each other, and we know not where we go,
As this is the course of the Game of our ties.

NOTE: "Die" is plural form of Dice

A Day

A Day filled with Highs,

Arduous trudging and faces close-by,

Blistering speed but careful Eyes,

We walk without tension,

For the mind it was an extension,

Purged of any apprehension,

Merely a moment we perceive,

Baring witness to beautiful glee,

Bringing back my moment with thee,

Pouring happiness into our empty hearts,

Our lives now far from ever being sparse,

A challenge made to who dared tear us apart,

And let us not break the habit of forgiveness,

Nor the purity of remembrance,

Thus giving our day,

Our Day, Greatness
