What Is It Like To Be Misunderstood?

What is it like, when no one can see the roses blooming in your heart When no one 
understands you When you are two worlds apart  When everything you say they take the 
opposite way Saying that you are evil That you are a menace to their day  What is it like 
when you continue to pray  then nothing but evil comes your way Trying to go forward to 
achieve  yet constantly being hindered by traps and schemes  So called friends taking away 
their laughter and hugs  When you call on the name of Jesus, they say you are on bad 
drugs  Being misunderstood happens all the time  Darkness seems to be clouding your 
sunshine   Rejection seems to be the cause of much pain  What is it like when their love 
turns vain  Sometimes it feels like i could of  would of  should   That's what it's like to be 
misunderstood

To Worship Vanity

To worship vanity is to gain with no respect  Stumbling over who ever just to get a check To 
worship vanity is to buy what you can't afford then to turn around and blame your debt on 
the lord   To worship vanity is to make vain purchases when the bills are overdue then 
whining and complaining because bill collectors are harassing you  To worship vanity is to see 
a soul in need To have and then not offer, but to say in God you believe  To worship vanity 
is to be materialistic  When you don't achieve stuff your mind goes ballistic  God is a God of 
love and not of vanity  Put yout trust in God, then you will keep your sanity

A Message In Disguise

How do we receive a message? Is it always there for our eyes to see?  Is it hiding under a 
table?  Could it be on wide screen tv?  Could it be a soft whisper?  A soft kiss on the lip  
Maybe it is at a comedy show or in a movie theatre script  A message in disguise  We must 
be able to discern  We must know what to listen to when our ears start to yearn  When a 
message come to us, we must hold on to the antidote  It may be a simple word, small 
speech, or a short quote   When a message come to us, we must also meditate  Appreciate 
the blessings of God and how God educates   A message is designed to set us straight  A 
way to guide and protect us  A way to navigate  You will know when a message is for you 
by the way you dilate your eyes   A message coming from the heart of God    A message in 
disguise

What Will Lust Do?

Lust will make you drop out of school  Allowing ungodly relationships to rule  Lust will cause 
you to be stringed along while those that don't love you treat you wrong  Lust will make you 
leave your spouse and kids  Allowing adultery to set in  Lust will make you stay out all night 
like a devouring lion with an aggressive appetite  Lust will make you cling to ungodly ways 
allowing incarceration to take you away  Lust will make you desire a coke bottle figure 
instead of a god fearing woman with a good heart within her  Lust will make you seek a 
masculine six pack instead of a god fearing man that has your back  Lust will make you crave 
masculine and feminine wealth taking trips to the clinic Trying to destroy your health  There 
are many corrupt things that lust will do, but the main objective is to destroy you

I Write

I write because i am a poet  Because my ink pen loves me  I write to find deliverance and 
edification for me I write when the sun is not shining gripping onto it for an uplift  I write 
when the waves of the ocean roar beating across the beaches shore When the river dams 
open i find myself trapped within The waters are so peaceful  Fishing poles are dropping in  
The sound is so peaceful The breeze is so still  I write because i am a writer and it is God's 
will I write when i feel heavy when it is hard to understand that when i walk across the 
beaches shore there are only two footprints in the sand  I write instead of murmurring  No i 
don't complain I write when the world tries to make me feel like i am going insane I write 
because is has a positive effect on the dream To persevere is also to believe I write when it 
snows outside because it is a must  Times and seasons are changing  It's getting closer to 
christmas I write when it is raining when i am getting wet  I take so many punches but still 
relieving the stress I write with my right hand because i don't write with with my left When i 
write i know there will be spiritual wealth I write the vision upon tables then i walk it out 
Weapons formed against me no longer stress me out  I write to make me happy I write to 
please I am a poet that invents a new way to release I write when i drive inside my mind 
cleaning out the cobwebs on the innerside I write when he lies to me then says, "What did i 
do? Then i smile and he says you are so cute I write while being quiet showing myself to be 
approved I write so my emotions aren't constantly moved  I write when i feel lonely Then i 
pray to my one and only When i write someone is blessed  I write to undo the stress I write 
when there is free time  I write because it eases a troubled mind  So i write   Then i write

Don'T Chase Your Faillures

Don't chase your failures  Go for what lies ahead  Look beyond your past  Don't wobble 
around in dread  Renew your mind  Rebuild your faith  Don't let past failures determine your 
fate  You made it this far, because there is a predetermined purpose  God is in your corner  
You are his valuable purchase  It doesn't matter if, when, or how but you can control what's 
going on now
Don't chase your failures  Look forward to a life of success  Renew your thinking, then you 
will start to progress
