Kayode Eleyinte Poem
Here am I in strange city
Strange it seems because I see
A serene.peaceful,beautiful city
With Iraqis walking hand in hand
Right with Americans hands together
I see Iranian hands over their weapons
Deadly weapons they held on to clearly
They willingly relinquished and surrender
The Sundanese all happy and joyful
As the rebels embrace peace
Then I was jolted by the alarm clock
My eyes opened for it was a dream
A dream I wish it was true
When life on earth would be war,hatred-free
As if heaven has come to stay with us

Kayode Eleyinte Poem
Man as I see through
My heart 's mirror reveal
Is a faculty of creativity
A compendium of knowledge
A vast sea of boundless ideas
My heart mirror is deceiving
As my eyes could clearly see
That though man is a beauty
He is only but a "killer"
Killer of dreams,visions and goals
Hush!says my heart to me
What a crime to judge without reason
Man is not a killer but leader
One who has conquered the space
He who has overcome seas-who weilds power on land
Man that made the rocket
It is he that made the atomic bomb
Man that made the Titanic
He made the AK-47
Killer or leader it is man to decide

Kayode Eleyinte Poem
A bouncing baby comes naked
But won't live naked
Though he comes in natural beauty
Warm clothing ans diapers
Will make his beauty glow
This doesn't come free but money buys
The baby soon becomes a boy
That needs skill,education and training
He needs to fit in to the modern world
A world where skill and educate prevail
Preschool,elementary and college
This also come with money
The baby who is now a man
He wants to be self sustaining
House,women posh cars come calling
His ego begs to be polished
Being comfortable and empowered
Money answers all these
