Elegy For My Social Life

You'll be missed,
You will always be remembered.

All those good times
I had because of you.

I regret this loss
More than any.

Goodbye, social life.
You'll be missed.

Mad Lib Love Poem!

Your skin glows like the Watermelon,
blossoms Amazing as the Lily in the purest hope of spring.
My yearning heart rises to your Drumming voice
and leaps like a Giraffe at the whisper of your name, Bo.
The evening ascends in on a great Nightengale wing.
I am calmed by your Panties that I carry into the twilight of Remotebeams
and hold you next to my Armpit.
I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of Mountain Dew.
As my Nostril falls from my T Shirt,
it reminds me of your Lamp Shade.
In the hushed, I listen for the last ZING of the spring.
My heated Earlobe leaps to my Hobo.
I wait in the crystal moonlight for your secret Pot
so that we may Slide as one, Earlobe to Earlobe,
in search of the glorious Maroon and spiritual Trophy of love.

Upside Down Town

The ups and downs
of an upside down town.
Evil smiles, silent frowns
every way you turn around.

Sickening suspicions,
psychic visions,
children having premonitions
on a mission.

Here to heal,
here to steal,
to show the world how to feel.
No more cutting deals.

Sent to the world
a baby girl,
but she will unfurl
to change the world...

Protect and Serve?

Unprovoked attacks
Death screams from the hearts of the innocent
A child's last breath
Lies in your arms
Raise your weapon
For the sickness f****ing your mind
Protect and serve?
F*** that, let's massacre them all
Let's burn and pillage
This family's home and make them watch
Piss in this man's hands
And spit at his feet
Let bullets rain on his chest
So his children see
Protect and serve?
Intimidate and rape
They fear your "help"
And comply with tears in their eyes
And a gun to their temple
Dirt on their knees, in a pool of their father's blood
Protect and serve?
I think not.

*About a news report I recently saw, about U.S. soldiers killing innocent civilians for
sport. (This has been going on since there has ever been wars, it's not a new issue.) They
blamed it on being in a drug-induced state of mind, and on seeing disturbing images of
warfare. We debated in my class whether or not this type of murder can be justified. I
argued strongly and loudly that NO traumatization or drugged mind is a just reason to
murder and torture innocent people. The U.S. military is here to PROTECT and SERVE all
people. Does this sound like protection to you?

The Cave Dweller and His Pumpkin

"Look, look, my dearest! Look at the sky!"
Said the tall cave dweller
With a sparkling smile in his eye

"Do you see the that vibrant rainbow?"
He asked the little pumpkin he held in his arms
"We must chase it! We must go!"

The pumpkin pouted and lay still on his chest
He pleaded at her feet, looked into her eyes
The pumpkin replied, "Blehh! I just want to rest!"

"Please, dearest pumpkin? We really must see!"
He put on his shoes and stood near the door
"Let's go on an adventure, just you and me,"

The pumpkin and cave dweller, hand in hand, began their long trek
To find the arc of colors that rest in the sky
They grew tired so they lay on the grass, her head on his neck

They awoke and planned out the rest of their day
"We will eat, walk, then sleep,
In exactly that way,"

The two ate, walked, and slept in exactly that order
And the journey continued in that manner
Until they reached the dark forest's border

"Shall we stop?"
Questioned the pumpkin
With her shoulders dropped

"Never! We can't give up now!"
The cave dweller exclaimed
"We will capture that rainbow, somehow!"

So they finished their dinner of kool-aid and melon
And they resumed their travel
And as they walked they encountered a felon

"Give me your money!"
The criminal shouted
"But don't try nothin' funny!"

The couple forked over all that they had
But the pumpkin smiled and said,
"We didn't need it much anyway, so it wasn't that bad,"

The pumpkin and cave dweller just kept on a happy face
As they hacked through the thick forest
And soon found their place

"Look there! It's the rainbow! We made it my love!"
Yelled the cave dweller excitedly
As they climbed the tall tree to the rainbow above

"You taste it first, since this was your plan!"
The pumpkin broke off a piece of that rainbow
And placed it in the cave dweller's hand

He rose the bright colored chunk to his lips
He chewed on that rainbow and looked thoughtful
Until he yelled "BLEHH!" and spit out rainbow chips

"This is repulsive! Horrid! Bad!"
He nearly fell out of that tree
From getting so mad

But the pumpkin thought for a moment then said
"We had quite a fun adventure, through good and through bad
It all happened for a reason, so don't lose your head!"

So the cave dweller reached over to the pumpkin for a kiss
And they smiled and they began the trip home
And decided that disgusting rainbow was worth all of this

Narcissism At Its Finest

I may falter on a few steps,
but my eye is on the goal

My spine is made of solid gold,
my heart is made of stone

My limbs have gone limp with heat,
my body growing heavy

My eyes are bloodshot, filled with tears,
and yet my pace is steady

I remember what I came here for,
it pushes me ahead

My conscience is long gone for now,
the path I leave is dead

My mind quivers at the thought of you,
my vision starts to blur

But the prize I see in the end is: me,
and the souls that I have hurt.

(part 2 of 2) Where the Sky Is Black, and the Cold Wind Blows...

A new chance has blossomed
Til the police pull up
She ain't feelin' too awesome
And her mind is made up

Chance to confess
To drop to her knees
But she's under all this stress
And she runs with the breeze

With a click and a blast
She screams her last breath
Chance for redemption at last
But she still chose death

Not a single angel sings
As she walks up to the gate
She wonders if she'll get wings
Or if damnation is her fate

Sex, Drugs, and Crime have one goal
And messing with that could cost you your soul

All the mourners stand back
As she's buried with a rose
Where the sky is black
And the cold wind blows...

So if life hands you trouble
You have to think twice
Or you could die bleeding in the rubbel
Payin' your high price

You could have a knife pulled on you
Or a bullet in the head
But we all know one thing is true
You could end up dead

You better remember this girl
All the s*** she went through
Don't let your life unfurl
Or your soul could be due

Life comes with pain
And life comes with tears
But don't hop on that train
To run away from your fears

Remember this crazy train
Is on a rickety track
And once you enter the wrong lane
There ain't no turnin' back

I know this 'cause I've walked on the path
I held this girls hand in the dreams I once had
Now I stand back looking at the aftermath
I'm lucky I lived, but it's hard to say I didn't like doin' the bad

Sex, Drugs, and Crime have one goal
And messing with that could cost you your soul

One of these days you might need to think back
To this little girl's last night of woe
Where the sky is black
And the cold wind blows...

Picking Predictions

All I know
	Is that I know nothing
Life just another
	Mystery novel
With no ending
	Until the end
So mysterious,
We don’t even know how many pages
No foreshadowing
As to what happens when we go
Pick your prediction
	It’s all you’ve got
Because you can’t count
Each grain of sand in the hourglass

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

They say you're pressured
Into doing it
They say you have
no voice
They say they'll call
you chicken
But me, I chose
for myself
Though I'm not sayin'
It was the right
choice.

(part 1 of 2) Where the Sky Is Black, and the Cold Wind Blows...

This is 'bout a girl from just a while back
It's a grusome, sad story, I know
It begins where the sky is black
And the cold wind blows...

She's got looks to kill
And an attitude to match
She's lookin' for a thrill
Lookin' for a soul to snatch

A mind like a knife
She's sharp and she'll cut you
She can change your life
Nobody thinks like she do

Not one can out run her
She's quick as a whip
No magician could trick her
She'll just make your mind trip

Got some patched up jeans
And shorn off hair
She can act real mean
'Cause she just don't care

Got a heart of gold, she did all she could
Had lots of romance on the brain
She acts much older than she should
Because this girl knows real pain

Now she might look bad
She might look rough
But you forget to look beyond the mad
And see that she was decent enough

She's been through a lot
Thinks she's seen too much
So she gets to smokin' pot
And she's felt God's touch

She runs further from the law
And closer to the light
Harder drugs hide in her bra
She can't hold up this fight

Starts trippin' too hard
While she's runnin' from the cops
Her brain is being scarred
And her heart begins to stop

Her eyes are rolling back
And her world begins to spin
She's run right off the track
Her life is caving in

She sees the angels cry
As she walks up to the gate
She asks her Father, "Why?"
He tells her she must wait

Sex, Drugs, and Crime have one goal
And messing with that could cost you your soul

She plummets on back
To her body below
Where the sky is black
And the cold wind blows...
