Ricci Hardt Poem
The dandelion sat along on the hill
watching the rose's play.
He asked to join the fun and games;
is it all right if I stay?
The rose's said, you can not play,
for you are not one of us.
Go back to your hill to your grassy clump,
and don't you make a fuss.
For we are tall with our beautiful stems
and nicely shaped leaves.
Our petals are grand,
the best in the land,
so stay away you weed.
A beautiful flower, tall and grand,
you are, the dandelion sighed.
Your petals are grand, the best in the land,
but i'd rather be pretty inside.
For the rose's and their beauty so grand,
will fade and wither with time,
but the dandelion's beauty within,
is one thing that will never die.

Ricci Hardt Poem
Where's the point?
Why go on?
I've got no support,
to face the dawn.
The brought me lust,
the got me friends.
In them I did trust,
numbers to all the men.
They got me on the cover,
of every magazine.
Cindy Crawford, move over,
they were quite a team.
Those were the good times,
they were at their best.
Now at the age of 79,
their just two old sagging breasts!

Ricci Hardt Poem
In my own little place
I live all alone.
It's not much to some,
but I proudly call it home.
My fluffy pillows on
my big unmade bed,
When I must get rest,
That's where I go to lay my head.
My dresser where
I keep my clothes,
which is anywhere but
where they should go.
There are two different cups
they do not match my two plates.
Just like me, they are misfits
and have no mates.
I love my little world;
my quirky odd space.
Happy am I
in my own little place.

Ricci Hardt Poem
Could you spare
A nickel or a dime?
I've worked all my life;
A life of overtime.
I've been your loyal
and hard working friend.
So I ask you;
why should that ever end?
I've done what you've instructed
every single time.
Could you spare
A nickel or a dime?
I don't complain
about living in or outside.
I've always been here for you
come rain, snow or shine.
A beast of burden
is all you think I am.
I'm more than a tool,
I'm a friend to fellow man.
I've been your friend
so be kind to this old equine.
I still need to eat;
could you spare a nickel or a dime?
