Remember Me

Remember me when I am gone,
no need to shed those tears.
For I am in a better place,
where I have no more fears.

With Gods embrace I'm happy now
it's a lovely place to be.
There is no more sorrow,
it's as pretty as the sea.

Remember me my lovely child,
for I'll remember you.
Just pick up all the pieces,
and try not to be so blue.

The time has come for me to go,
so hold your head up high.
I know your feeling lonely,
I'm right here by your side.

Tell all your kids I love them,
and not to be so sad.
For I love you all so much,
I was proud to be your Dad.

I Love You!

Thanks

To all our men and woman,
from the rich to wearing rags.
The ones who fight for freedom,
and honor our great flag.

God bless you and we thank you,
where ever you may roam.
At night I say a prayer for you,
so you all will make it home.

At times it gets real lonely,
I know how scared you get.
For I have served my country,
I am a VietNam vet.

May God travel with you,
and keep you safe in ranks.
I will send you all a prayer,
along with all my thanks.

Please send them a letter,
I know it helps them through.
They do it for our country,
the red, white and the blue.

A United States Marine

You take a real young man,
put him in a uniform.
Give that boy a gun,
and watch him start to form.

You give him weeks of training,
when you think he has it right.
Then you send him far away,
to a place for him to fight.

He watched his friends get killed,
there are no greater fears.
There is nothing he can do,
but cry those lonely tears.

All you can do is move ahead,
try to keep yourself alive.
Think about when you get home,
is what gives you your thrive.

And now that it's all over,
and the worst you ever seen.
You would do it all again,
your a United States Marine.

Do You Believe

Do you believe in miracles,
or in heaven up above.
Do you believe that special things,
come from a pure white dove.
Do you believe that giving birth,
is like magic when their born.
Do you believe that magic,
really comes from unicorns.
Do you believe that you live on,
even after you are gone.
Or do you believe that you are sent,
to another place and left alone.
Do you believe that God,
will return again some day.
Do you believe he will come back,
and take everything away.
I believe in all the good,
that comes from peoples hearts.
or sharing life with loved ones,
hoping that they never part.
